Wake and Late is hands down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting! Their bagels and breakfast burritos are absolutely unmatched. Every bite was bursting with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The variety of cream cheese spreads is incredible, and each one adds a unique, delicious twist to their already perfect bagels.
The breakfast burritos? Pure magic. The sauces are flavorful and perfectly complement the fresh ingredients, making each bite unforgettable. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The gentleman who helped us was not only knowledgeable but also had such a warm and welcoming personality. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel as valued as he did. Wake and Late has officially become a must-visit for me every time I’m in town. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, incredible service, and a vibe that makes your day better, this is it! Highly recommend!

Had seen this place and was curious to try.
I did see all the reviews and became a bit hesitant, but still ended up giving it a try.

I went with the streak burrito. Once your order you wait a bit and get your order outside. Each burrito comes with a choice of 2 side sauces.

Well, I wasn’t disappointed. It was pretty good. It comes with everything I like (meat, eggs, potatoes, avocado). It is on the greasy side. But, even though the burrito wasn’t that big, for everything that was in there, I got full. I loved the flavors.

Yes, $19 is on the pricey side - for sure. But, once in a while, I don’t mind coming for a treat.

I have been preaching the Wake and Late gospel for years, and am thrilled they continue to expand their empire. I was a regular at the original DTLA location. I welcome this new outpost. The quality of the food and consistency continue here at the Hollywood location.

Service was friendlier than the Pasadena location.

I really liked the new hot sauce which is different than the kill sauce they had.

These burritos are GOOD!
I was a little skeptical cause the size is smaller than most burritos. The right size and such great flavor. Not dry and layers of crunchy. Dirty chai is yummmmmmy!

I recently tried Wake and Late, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. I opted for their breakfast burrito, and while it wasn’t bad, it was definitely underwhelming for the price. The burrito was decent but lacked the flavor and freshness you’d expect from something that costs that much. It felt more like a standard grab-and-go option rather than something carefully crafted.

The coffee wasn’t much better. It wasn’t terrible, but it certainly didn’t stand out in any way. Just your average brew, nothing special, yet it was priced like something you’d expect from a high-end coffee shop. I left feeling like I’d spent more than I should have for what I got.

Overall, Wake and Late has a cool vibe and decent service, but when it comes to the food and coffee, there are definitely better options in the area for the price.

I go there in the week of Hanukkah for a cup coffee, to go as a gift for a African American person on streets also he seems stressed out so I make sure he go outside, so I come back to get coffee and I was very nice in the begging but this boss on picture on right had rebellion anger and hate and hate in him also I think so mix with bitterness not just he kick me out but also during the week of Hanukkah.

Tried their burritos for the first time, specifically, the bacon burrito and it was sooooo good!

They use the freshest ingredients and the flavors both the burrito and sauces are on point! The cherry on top is that they offer really good coffee options too. Really looking forward to trying the rest of their menu. The staff were really nice too! Wish they have more seat options, because they just opened and they are already so busy 🙂
