I hardly ever post negative reviews, because I feel bad doing that to a business. But I left this place feeling so awful that I don’t want anyone else to have this experience. I will start by saying this was the worst gel manicure I have ever had in my life. The gel was lumpy & uneven and the polish was all over my cuticles, under my nails, and even along the side of my finger. Truly, like a child painted my nails. I’m typically the person that doesn’t say anything for fear of hurting someone’s feelings, but this was so bad that it felt weird not to bring it to their attention. I was honestly in disbelief that they were going to let me leave like that. Unfortunately, what was most upsetting was the way they made me feel after I politely asked them if they could please redo the polish, or not charge me for the gel. I was scolded for being ‘picky’ for asking that they meet the bare minimum standard for a professional manicure. The entire experience was so awkward and uncomfortable. Will never go back.

I been coming here for about 2 years now since I moved to Cali. Michael is my name tech. I never had my real nails done because they wouldn’t grow. I went to him one day and told him I would like to grow my real nails out and get them done. Michael said no problem I can do that! And he was right. My nails are going so fast and beautiful! All the pics posted is my real nails journey enjoy!

I walked in early, was able to get My manicure pedicure done. Michael did my Acrylic nails honestly feel a little disappointed, simple fact that I told him I didn’t want gel and he still insisted I payed 93 dollars not worth it. My nails didn’t last a week and turned yellow. Not going back .

They're OK. 2nd time here, customer service is ehh.. not to bad though. They were ok the first time too. I live close so thought give them another try after reading the increased positive reviews since it's been almost a year since my first visit. Buttt still just OK. Got a mani pedi with gel. Nails could of been painted a lot better on my hands, kinda sloppy. Looked better with what I walked in with but my nails grew blahh lol Pedi came out better. My daughter got fills they came out thick, not sleek the way she walked in with them. Again to bad they grew out lol still on a search for a good nail salon... small parking lot. Prices are ok.

The entire place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and polite! They always seat you pretty quickly, and they do an amazing job! I've never been disappointed with the service here! Only nail shop I will come to. I love the fact that they accept venmo or zelle, which makes paying so easy and convenient.

I came in without an appointment and in 5 minutes or less I was seated and assigned a nail tech, Vivian, forgive me if I spelled your name wrong! She was absolutely amazing! I showed her my reference picture and she was spot on, from the shape to the color. She made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The price leaves you with room to tip generously, so please do! With that being said, Velvet Nails has got a new returning customer.
