My husband’s second visit. First time he wouldn’t get the shots in his knees. So… after playing a few rounds of golf he couldn’t walk. He apologized to the doctor and got the shots he should have gotten the first time.

I had been to Dr. Goodine's team for gel injections for my right knee and that seem to help some. Therefore, I decided to see Dr. Goodine for my right hip that has been giving me a lot of pain and discomfort. He scheduled an injection (my 2nd one as first one did not help) along with an MRI. I then went back to see him for the follow up discussion of the MRI. I waited almost an hour to see him. He enters room and asks about my knee and I said I am here to discuss the results of MRI for my hip. He seem confused and I don't think he even looked at MRI. Told me I have arthritis, which I already knew. I asked questions about what the MRI results were and he just said I have moderate arthritis and did not feel I needed hip replacement. I asked what I can do for the all the pain and that I have problems getting in and out of car and walking etc. He really did not say anything except I have moderate arthritis. I left there so frustrated and trying to figure out what my next step was and now where to go! I handle pain very well, and this pain was getting worse and affecting my quality of mobility. I then learned by referral of another doctor through the Core Institution. I went to him today, which has been 3 months later. He pulled up the MRI and saw right away that it was severe arthritis, not moderate along with other issues, that I could even see and I am not a doctor. He recommend hip replacement and said the other hip is starting to show wear. I mentioned to him my previous experience and he apologized a couple times that happened to me and the MRI must not have been read. Meanwhile I have wasted time on this and could had been underway with recovering. I have been in a lot of pain and will have to wait another 2 months before I can get surgery. Meanwhile I am starting to feel a little discomfort with my other hip now from the affects. Not happy with Dr. Goodine at all! He definitely did not help me, only took time from me.

Attitude problems... because I was honest with him about using THC gummies at night in my home for pain and for help with sleeping he fired me. Hahaha that is a good thing I don't want someone like him operating on me. Thanks very much. He didn't even mention to me that was the next consideration until today just before he fired me.
