3J’s is -Cracked Out- on this place. A MUST stop in Old Town. The Sugar Stop is the place to go to grab a quick pizza or some nachos and a -World Famous- Dole Whip, ice cream Sunday, or any nostalgic candy from your youth. They have the largest variety of flavored soda pops and root beers in all of southwest Riverside county. They also carry the largest assortment of Asian snack foods and drinks from around the world. But thier claim to fame is thier hand dipped caramel apple varieties exclusively made by Leanna and the girls. Family owned and operated, the small town cozyness of The Sugar Spot makes it the perfect place to bring the family and put a smile on everyone’s face.

Pretty cool spot.. lots of stuff to look at for the kids and adults. Tons of sweets to pick from. Staff is super friendly! Kids had a great time & everyone found something to try!

While we’re in town supporting the local businesses of Temecula. The sweet tooth cravings hit! What better of a spot than a local Candy & Ice Cream shop with a ton of extra sweets! Especially in this Heat, nothing satisfies more than an authentic Dole Whip! We’ll be back ❤️

Absolutely loved this place! An incredible variety of old-school candies, along with a delightful selection of handcrafted chocolates and sweets. The Dole pineapple whip is a must-try! The staff is exceptionally friendly, offering fantastic recommendations like the nearby restaurant 1909. Being a family-run establishment adds a personal touch – don't miss out on the great conversations. A delightful experience overall!

Discovered the newer sweets shop @thesugarspottemecula in Old Town Temecula. As a root beer fan, I lived how many specialty brands they had. Taffy, Jelly Bellies, MANY obscure candies as well as fan favs, specialty chocolates, fountain sodas besides the bottled stuff, a dozen or more ice creams (with pro baseball bowls if you want 'em), Hawaiian shave ice,.... and I'm sure I missed something! Great atmosphere, a delight to the senses, and definitely worth the visit. I'll be back for sure!

Bought 7 truffles for the first time here.
I've had truffles before but these chocolates, the shells are too thick and overpowers the actualy truffles inside. Wasn't work the $3 each. They also taste like like they are shipped in and resold and not made there. I could be wrong?

Other than the truffles, my kids had fun swimming though the vast amounts of different candies there.

Service/workers seem nice.

I definitely can't recommend the truffles.

Update:

My wife just tries one and she said it was the worst truffles she ever had. Same comment as me, the chocolate shell was too much and too hard to bite into especially for $3 each.

The ladies that work here are super and the ice cream is amazing! Fun place to walk around in and vintage stuff all over. We will be back before heading home.
