From the minute I walked into the salon; I knew I was in a special place. The atmosphere is so special from the black bricks and the plants to the pink lights. I had a conglomerate of colors in my hair. Jamie B. transformed my hair into a magical creation of chocolate, caramel and vanilla. She uses good products and achieved a bright blonde money piece without damaging my hair.

I'm in need of a haircut, and realized I never left a review from the hair cut I received last year at Salon Glo. I came here for years with Tiffany, who worked magic with my hair (partial highlights + cut) but she moved away a little while ago. I thought I'd just see whatever stylist was available for last year's cut only - and it ended up costing me $150!! For a simple wash and trim (no color, no bangs, nothing). The cut was fine, but nothing to be oohed and awed over either.

To say I was shocked when she told me the price is an understatement! Tiffany was always like $120-150 for cut and partial highlights which seemed fair, but WOW! I don't think I'll be returning again, as I still feel pretty swindled by their stylist. Such a bummer because the receptionists are always amazing and I love the sweet setup of the salon itself.

Bunni is the best here! I came to her to fix a bad haircut and she was an expert about knowing exactly how to do it. She was really patient and thorough finding the right style for my short (shoulder length) hair and did a dry cut too. The salon is really clean and they pamper you for a great price too.

yet another amazing & magic salon from the totally talented Jaimie Branson. The Powder Room in SLO is what every salon wishes it was. I'd drive her from LA just to get my hair done by Jaimie! she's is a sweet baby angel that takes hair and the connection to it seriously. she's truly one of the hardest workers i've ever met & one most genuine people you will ever meet. do yourself a favor & treat yourself to the best salon in San Luis Obispo. whether you are a blonde, a brunette, a redhead or anything in between, Powder Room is the best place to be pampered. if you like feeling beautiful, sexy, and cool, you know where to go!
