We visited Friday night around 7:30 pm. You order at the back and are given a number. They then bring your food to the table. It's rustic and clean. There was a musician performing with his guitar. There is a full bar. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. We were driving to Atlanta, so did not stay long. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries, my husband the conecuh dog with tots. Food arrived quickly and was delicious! There is quite a lot of parking.

Forgot to do this review the day of, but want to be sure this gets highlighted! This was a few weeks back and I still remember the kind service, on point flavor and can’t wait till they have it again! Little family oriented establishment with big country feel.

Had a great meal with my family. Like they said, the burger was very good. Their fries especially was amazing and my kids loved them.
People are far beyond kind. Very nice.

First time here. Quaint place. It used to be an old general store. We've passed it several times and didn't realize it was actually a restaurant until a friend told us. We met Summer, who either owns it or manages it. She was very sweet and told us they've been there for about 2 years. I believe it's the only restaurant in Cecil. We live in Shorter so its close for us. Their food was really good and she does a good job making sure everyone is getting what they need. She tends the bar and waits the tables. They bring in live music Thursday - Saturday. We are glad they are here. We usually have to go to Tallassee or Montgomery to eat, so it's nice to have such a good option a little closer. We will be back. ?

We are sitting at the lunch table here and just enjoyed awesome, super-crispy fried chicken, rice and gravy and absolutely perfect fried okra. Such huge portions! And the blackberry cobbler tastes like my Gramma made it! It's more than we can finish so we will be asking for a go box. If you want a wonderful meal, don't miss this gem!!! And we experienced superb customer service. The owner came around to make sure we were enjoying our meal and that we had no complaints. Nice, hardworking young man!!!

The fresh seafood and meats at The Grocery has been one of my favorite places to get fresh meats. Great and super fresh selection!
