Stopped in for a tasting on my walk thru to Seattle from San Diego. Jennifer and Tommy were amazing hosts.

Sometimes due to the fact that I have a backpack....I've been treated...less important than the next customer at various wineries, restaurants, stores, and even public libraries... But here, they were inviting from the moment I set foot into their establishment.

The wines were quite tasty n refreshing. Tommy and Jennifer were both quite knowledgeable. I might add that it was on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon that I had stopped in and Still got exceptional service.

After the tasting, I had a glass of the Cabernet I had tried. My favorite one I'd tasted.

*I can honestly say, any bad reviews this place gets are Surely not due to their wines or the hosts ive met.

Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed the tasting menu. VERY high quality wine+selection. I deeply enjoyed all the wines on the menu. Was allowed to order food to bring in. We got a bit hungry during the tasting as it was the late afternoon and ordered fish tacos down the street and brought them in. I so wish I ordered some wine but had no weight left in my luggage. Can't find these wines anywhere here in Connecticut. So sad 🙁

Very unfriendly service. We asked to have wine tasting and then were ignored. Server walked away. She was not happy, but not our fault. No greeting, no "hello," nothing. She was more interested in dealing with the locals. Glass of California sparkling wine was 15.00, plus tax. Really!!!! You're better off driving a few miles up the road into Santa Barbara and walking the wine trail. You can get reasonably priced wines and excellent customer service. Don't waste your time on the place

We went to this tasting room while visiting from Oregon and fell in love with both the wine and our tasting room associate, Hailey. She was so sweet and informative and all of the wine was so good! Our favorites were the Chardonnay as well as the Rosè. She was super helpful and knowledgeable in the wine industry. She even gave us some insight to one of her recent trips to Idaho for wine tasting as well! She made our experience super enjoyable and we will definitely visit again before we leave! Love this place and the shopping nearby is also a plus!

First time trying out this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Although we were seating outside near the parking lot it didn't matter as our food was delicious! I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon with a side of Cesar salad and my boyfriend got the 18 oz New York strip steak. We also got the truffle Mac and Cheese - I highly recommend and the lobster cheddar mashed potatoes. Will definitely be coming back again!

Simply outstanding little hidden gem. Large, private patio in the back, great wine, and Justin was beyond pleasant and kind, and just a wonderful host, as was the young lady in the front. As a bonus, our dogs loved laying in the shade and out of the way.

Summerland wine tasting shop is a great place representing Santa Barbara County wines. They have an excellent selection and are informed of trends and additions to the wineries.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, Our "go-to" girl is Jennifer. She knows the wines and wineries and is very helpful in assisting us in trying something new or revisiting a favorite- ask for Jennifer when you visit!
