While in L.A. recently, I wanted to pamper myself and escape for an afternoon to de-stress from work. A colleague recommended SkinGuru Spa in Santa Monica, so I followed her advice. I am SO glad that I did. From the moment you walk in, you feel an instant sense of calm. The studio is serene, beautifully designed with a minimalist yet warm vibe that immediately helps you relax. I started to feel my stress melt away as I walked through the door.

Michelle, the owner, is an absolute gem. She’s incredibly professional yet so down-to-earth, and she has this magical way of making you feel completely at ease. I’ve been to a lot of spas over the years, but the personalized attention she offers is exceptional. She takes her time to really listen to your skincare needs, never rushes, and explains everything so clearly. Her deep knowledge of skincare is evident in every treatment she offers, but what I love most is how she combines that expertise with such a calming presence.

Her facials are *so* good, but what is next level is the Japanese head spa treatment. IYKYK. Michelle has this way of making you feel like you’re the most important client in the world.

If you’re looking for a place to unwind, be pampered, and leave glowing (inside and out), I can’t recommend SkinGuru enough. It's truly a sanctuary for anyone who needs a little break from the chaos.

She specializes in Japanese hair treatments using high-quality Milbon products, which left my hair feeling incredibly smooth and healthy. Michelle was so attentive to ensure I had a great experience she offered to walk me over to Mauricio around the corner for a blow out after my Japanese hair treatment. I then returned for a facial! The facial was top-notch tailored to the needs of my skin. I felt leaving rejuvenated. I enjoy this experience so much, I have gifted to friends and family and of course they are so grateful.
