I recently received a gift card for a 75-minute bespoke facial with Kathryn and, my goodness, am I glad I did. My experience at Skin Serviss was superb. One of those rare experiences that is just so good from beginning to end. The space is clean and beautiful. Easy to access off the 101 with a private parking lot behind the building.The space and Kathryn's professional attention is all yours while you're there. Kathryn is the perfect blend of direct and very-detail oriented while also being incredibly warm and a joy to be with. The facial was tailored to exactly what my skin needed and she talked me through each thing she was doing and why. Kathryn has over 25 years of experience and you can feel it when you're there. She answered questions I had and was wonderful to refer me to several things she thought might benefit me that she does not offer (i.e. only offered in medical offices) -- which I really appreciated. I also appreciated that when I mentioned certain products I already use, she acknowledged when they were good formulations rather than trying to sell me something else. It feels good to know that if she offers me something it is because she truly believes it would be of service to my skin. The facial involved many steps that exfoliated, brightened, and nourished my skin -- all while Kathryn massaged my neck, shoulders, arms, hands and feet. I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud with my skin absolutely glowing. That was yesterday. My skin looks even better today. I will be back.

This is as good as it gets as far as I'm concerned. The salon is brand new, easy to get to, right off the 101 freeway exit, has a private parking lot and ample street parking. The treatment room is just a delight to the senses: pristine, private, calming... What makes Kathryn's facials special is the treatment is so personally tailored. This is not some crowded chain spa where you are swept in and out like on an assembly line. You are the sole client there for the hour you booked, so it feels truly VIP and private. Even more so than her previous salon in Brentwood. After careful, caring examination, Kathryn gives me the facial my face needs whether it's more moisture or clarification or whatever my face will benefit from the most given its condition. Bespoke indeed. Her healing hands, heavenly products, patient and personalized attention make this such a self care gift to oneself. It really isn't a luxury but a necessity I feel like receiving at least every season especially from someone with as much experience and loving care as Kathryn. Not to mention her own line of fabulous products that are available as well. Give yourself or a loved one this gift in her beautiful new space.

I am a huge fan of Kathryn’s style. I have been a client since her salon in Brentwood. Her facials are spectacular and her waxes are meticulous, professional and as pleasant as that particular service can be. The space is beautiful and spotless. I love her product line- her spf moisturizer is a holy grail product for me. I have been using it for 5 years at least. I always leave feeling fresh, refreshed and totally beautiful because my skin is so clean!!

The important thing to know about The Salon, Skin Serviss: Kathryn taylor's your Facial, according to your skin needs.
She is a perfectionist about details; kathryn stays current with the latest technology and products to come on the market.
When you leave the salon, you walk out with glowing skin. In between facials, I am constantly being commented on the quality of my complexion.
Between different facial techniques that are applied during a session; Kathryn soothing hands massages your shoulders and arms to put you in a state of relaxation.
