I came here for the first time after reading the positive reviews and had the worst nail experience that I have ever had in my life.

I came in to get gel x and informed my nail tech that one of my nails was cracked and lifting and painful. She completely forgot that I had told her that and was extremely rough which made things 10x worse and then kept saying she didn't know even though I had told her at the beginning.

I had told her that I wanted my nails to be square and narrow and she kept saying "coffin". I said no, just square and narrow, and she made them all so wide that every single finger nail looks like a thumb nails. It's so embarassing and looks so bad that I have been hiding my hands. On top of that, she made me hold the little machine to cure my own nails.

I feel bad because she seemed friendly, but the quality of her work was truly awful and my nails look like they were done by someone whose still in nail school. I don't think this salon should allow nail techs who can't even do a simple set to take paying clients. If you don't know how to do a certain service you should just say so. What's worse is this came out to $70!

Maybe they have some good nail techs, but I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I gave myself a few days before writing this review to see if I still feel strongly about it and yes, I do. The people are very nice and friendly, but Kim who did my manicure did a VERY bad job. She left tons of cuticle yet butchered my thumb. See picture- how is that even salon manicure? I want to say Vicki on pedicure was great.

After traveling in South East Asia my toe was hurting decided to look for a nail spa in Burlingame , I noticed this beautiful SPA in Burlingame , Sally SPA. First impression how professional and friendly the staff treated me . They recommended me a petty cure fixed my toe and it was amazing experience, highly recommend this place to anyone . Absolutely love Sally's. I would never go anywhere else. They do a fantastic job, especially Thi, she's my manicurist. Love her! Everyone there is pretty awesome. They take such great care and spend lots of time with the customers.

Finding the right nail salon and tech is not easy. I just moved back to Burlingame after being gone for a decade. I chose another salon unfortunately and was treated with zero respect and also lied to. After this I called Michelle the owner of Sallys Spa and her sweet daughter Sally!! Michelle is very kind, but most importantly is a very Smart and Ethical experienced business woman. She is very honest too. Please reach out to her if you have any issues. She will solve your problem. She wants to provide excellent services to ALL her customers.Dont leave a bad review if there is an issue. Please just contact her. I appreciate you Michelle very much! Went for a walk-in, paid $42 + tip for gels and they cracked in 5 or 6 days. Such a waste of money, which is a shame because I liked the service there. Photos are from after 9 days

I previously had written a nicer review but today I had my third & last visit to the salon. I like to give chances in case someone is having a bad day but this place just sucks.

Everytime I have left which is 3 times in the last month, something has been wrong with each set of nails / pedi.

- The nail techs are sloppy. Sarah especially.
- They use the wrong grit file on natural nails it’s way too abrasive and harsh.
- The staff are oddly rude & then nice & back to rude.

My latest gel mani (pink pics) has different coloured spots where the gel must be separated. This was noticeable the second I got into my car & had Taylor bothered to look at my nails she might have seen that. Even though the same colour gel was used, you can see the colour does not match as her 2nd & 3rd layers were not evenly placed over the previous.

I won’t be returning which is a shame as it’s right on my street.
