Very happy with my first visit!!! Went in for a full set and Thi introduced me to Gel-X which I had never tried before but heard of. It was cool to try something different and it wasn’t a pressured feeling at all she was very clear about cost expectations and allowed me to make an informed decision. I feel like that part is extremely rare. Glad I checked them out! I look forward to going back in the future!

I've been to Q's Spa & Nail Bar once before this experience. I loved it. I went with my dad and we had a great time without a single issue. The staff was friendly and quick, and the nails were well done.

I decided to go back to get a dip manicure but they were closed for renovations. "That's fine, I'll go somewhere else now and come back next time I need my nails done when they're open," I thought.

So I did. And it was terrible.

I wanted silver metallic chrome dip. I showed her the photo and she had to ask two to three other people if they even did that at this business. They said no. So she offered me a sparkly option. She gave me one of those samples and I chose the silver sparkly one since it was the closest to the chrome I originally wanted. Then she began to do my nails.

Not only did this process take TWO HOURS to simply get my previous dip manicure off and get a new set with only my natural nails, they look TERRIBLE. I have not a clue why she would put black underneath the sparkles, as it just makes them look dirty. Why not put pink or white? The sparkles are splotchy because she only did one layer for some reason. The texture of the nails is not smooth at all. Also, she didn't ask about putting black on my nails. (I came in with a regular black dip manicure so maybe she thought I wanted that, but I'm still super confused on that one. Would have been amazing if she would have just asked/clarified.) I don't know much about the dip process, as this was only the second time, so I put my faith in her that she would have more knowledge about them than I and do them well, as it is quite literally her entire job description.

I asked others from my work and my friends if they looked as bad as I thought and they all said "Yes, they look awful." (great confidence booster by the way). One of my friends even asked why I'd paid for it at all (I didn't expect to be there for 2 hours, making me almost late for work, so I just rushed out of there and told myself I'd deal with it tomorrow). Another person at work said it looked like a "talented child did them". I didn't disagree.

So I decided to try to go back to get my money back the next day. I didn't have two hours of my morning before work to set aside for them to fix my nails and, quite frankly, I didn't want them to touch my nails ever again, so I asked for a refund.

The disrespect I received when I asked for that refund was unmatched. Not only did he laugh in my face, he began speaking to another woman who worked there (I assume the assistant manager, but I'm not too sure) and then they began laughing together too. Laughing at a customer, in front of a customer, is wild to me and I've worked at some terrible establishments.

He said that because I "left satisfied", I couldn't get a refund. The only thing that he said he could do was to fix it FOR A DISCOUNT OF NOT EVEN 50%. Not get all of my money back for the problem that they started. I would think at a business like this where the reviews are so good, would have better customer service as to not LAUGH at the customer right in front of them.

It was truly wild. I've never had a nail salon experience like this.

The technician who did my pedicure cut my toe and didn't say/do anything about it. I've been getting pedicures for over a decade and besides this time I've only ever been cut once while getting a pedicure. I don't know if it's a normal thing that happens here and that's why she just wiped the blood off and moved on, but I'd rather not return anywhere that's a normal practice. In the past when I had been cut during a pedicure the technician apologized cleaned the wound and gave me a discount bc I'd been injured during the service. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly, the woman who did my eyebrows was so incredibly sweet. I did also end up w an another injury from my eyebrow wax either a cut or a burn, but I don't think the technician noticed bc how red the area was. Personally I won't be returning bc of the service. The place is very clean and the end results for both services (injuries aside) was great.

I love my mani and pedi so much! The two ladies whom worked on me were very nice and friendly, the staff also. I highly recommend Q, you will not be disappointed.

Nail thickness is not uniform. One nail is at least 1/4” thick while the other side of the nail is super thin… I asked for square with rounded edges and you can tell where the technician got tired and just rounded the edges without making it square first…Gel polish was left on me… charged me an extra $15 dollars for “fixing my nails” because there was a crack in them….. I chose a matte finish and you can tell where the matte finish is and where it is not…. Because she used an empty matte finish bottle then used another bottle of matte finish, you can tell where she used the old bottle and then switched to another empty bottle.She left a hang nail sticking me, and I told her about it, she still did nothing. Photos below show and verify the experience. Not happy at all. Will not be coming back here. VERY DISSATISFIED !😖🚫🤦‍♀️
