Horrible nails
The guy doing my nails was super sweet, but I kept on telling him the pink part of my nail was not looking nice. I showed him what I wanted and it was nothing like the picture.

Go somewhere else anywhere else! I don’t ever get my nails don’t in Gilroy because they are mostly chop shop quality. I was in a bind and went here and regretted it the moment I walked in. The owner was sitting at the register with his wife with his head down on the desk. He lifted his head to ask what I wanted and I asked if he was okay because his head was done. He responded that he was fine. He didn’t look fine. I asked for an overlay because I didn’t want any length to my natural nails. He said I need tips to get the form I wanted. This is not true I’m a licensed cosmetologist myself and I know that a skilled technician can form a tip with a nail wrap under the free edge of the nail. So he starts doing my nails very aggressively and in a rush. So much so his brush falls out of rne monomer jar because he pressed it so hard.

The absolute worst part is he was sniffing the entire time! This is why salons were the last thing to open after Covid because the outbreak started in a nail salon. His hands were really warm I’m pretty sure he had a fever. He finally put on a mask when he started sneezing! But then when he would have to sneeze he would take his mask off!!!!! What was the reason of even putting the mask on!? So then he says he has allergies and that he is congested. He would get up to blow his nose and not even wash his hands!!!!! I originally asked for a design, but I couldn’t finish! I felt like I had been exposed to enough airborne particles to get me sick. Then I was charged 54 dollars for these subpar ugly nails and I had acrylic all over my cuticles. I told his wife when she took my card how uncomfortable I was and I hope I don’t get Covid. She said no it’s his allergies. If he was that sick he should have been home resting. Now if I get Covid in the next few days I’ll know where I got it from.

I also notice my nails always lift when I get them done here (rarely that I try this place). He is the worst nail technician compared to his wife and the other workers. In all I’ve learned always go to San Jose to get your nails done. I included pictures of this shotty work. I really hope I don’t get Covid.

The best one in Gilroy I went to other nails spa too in Gilroy but they never do my nails with such paitinence and time. They were supposed to be close at 7:30 but my nails took longer time and finished at 8:20pm but they didn’t brag about it even the shop was suppose to be close the lady still did my nails with patience even it took longer time.

I went in today to do my refill. I called because I only had my lunch hour to go in and out. Helen did my nails and I LOVE them! She left them exactly how I wanted them. Loved Helen's job on my nails today. I wanted a natural look and that was exactly what I got on my refill

My first time there with Tom n let me tell you I was very satisfied. He did a fabulous job on my nails. I found my new spot. They treat you very nice.
