I moved to woodland earlier this year and chose to keep getting my nails done in Sacramento until I could find a new reliable shop with genuine customer service. This is definitely the best shop I’ve come across and they’re always so sweet. 10/10 pedis and their prices are exactly whats marketed. My new favorite place for my pedis.

I had my nails done and loved them. But my nail broke on my pointer finger just a few days later. I went in to see about fixing it and they asked me to wait 30 minutes or come back the next day. I wait patiently for my turn, I was understanding that they need to take everyone’s appointments first and that it’s close to closing time.

My nail tech did a horrible job. Not only was she not interested in doing the nail, she kept interacting with the customer next to me - checking on her nail design and commenting how cute. With me it was very short and sloppy. I felt extremely uncared for which is unfair - I paid $65 for my nails with a tip. I would’ve paid and tipped for just one nail if it hadn’t come out so poorly!

The tech berated me for not knowing what number they used for the acrylic nail, which was confusing because I was never given that information in the first place. The original nail had a green tip and a white daisy design with a yellow dot. I got a green tip that is clearly shaped differently and a daisy design that is so sloppy and placed incorrectly and she didn’t use yellow for the dot, she used gold. The actually nail took what felt like 5 minutes because it was so rushed.

I’m sad to say I just won’t be coming back. I left painfully aware that I was a bother for asking them to fix my nail, and upset that even though she fixed it she went the extra mile to be sloppy with it. I would’ve paid for the fix to my one nail but I’m honestly glad I didn’t have to because I really don’t like it and I didn’t like how I was handled either.

I have been taking my business to Profile Nails since they opened, and I have known the Owner since before she owned the business. After reading a post that said the staff were rude and disrespectful, and that the Owner’s response was dishonest, I wanted to defend the owner and her staff who have always been very professional, polite and friendly, and never ever dishonest. Perhaps it was a communication or language barrier, but I can vouch that this is a business with an Owner that is extremely honest and is always willing to accept accountability and is not afraid to apologize & try to make her customers happy. It’s not easy to run a business but all of the staff at Profile Nails work very hard to make it successful.

I love going to Pro-File Nails. I’ve been going there every couple of weeks for several years. I have always been treated with kindness and respect and I have never seen them treat anyone badly.
I was in the shop this morning when the previous reviewer came in asking for change. She walked in not long after the salon opened and all of the employees were busy with customers. It took them a minute to ask around, but no one had change. It doesn’t seem fair to give a bad review because they couldn’t break a $20 bill. No one was rude or disrespectful about it.

After trying a few places here in woodland and was not satisfied when I left, I decided to give one more place a try. This is the best nail spot in town. I take a picture of what I want & they are able to do the exact design or color of what I want. I’ll be continuing to come here from now on!

I've been here several times over the past two years. I only get pedicures and manicures once in awhile to "clean up" my callouses and cuticles, not so much for the cosmetic aspect, so I always ask for regular polish in order to remove it on my own. EVERY TIME they try to pressure me into getting gel. It is the same conversation every visit. I insist I want regular polish and the staff respond as if I'm uninformed, often getting aggitated as they adamantly explain it will "dry instantly and last longer". Last time I said "regular polish, not gel". The tech asked if I wanted dip, and I repeated no, only regular. She said "regular gel". No, I had to repeat again, regular polish. She then started arguing that gel will last a long time and regular polish "only one day" (she was right, it was peeling by the next day, which is strange because when I coat my nails at home they last longer). EVERY VISIT is the same argument, followed by annoyance and warnings about how I'm making the wrong choice. It has honestly made visiting this salon stressful. They won't take no for an answer without a fight, but gel just isn't my way of life. I started driving to a salon all the way in Vacaville with a cleaner layout, newer equipment, and staff that never question my choices for the same price range. It's worth the drive.

Rude and disrespectful when I walked in. Editing to add context since owners reply isn’t honest. I went to the golden one ATM pulled out cash. I walked in an politely asked if someone could break a twenty. The lady in the first chair with 2 customers said yes we can break it. I waited and made eye contact with the man was sitting in the last nail tech chair … I asked him if he could break a twenty and that I was going to get my nails done he looked away from me swatting his hand like I was a fly and said go to the bank next door… uttered something… so I walked out. Just needed to hand my child $10 as he went to tryouts for volleyball and planned to get my nails done in the meantime. This place looks nice but super rude!

This place has my business forever! Call ahead because they get a ton of walk ins! T got right to it when I showed up for my 5pm appointment. She did sooo good & you can tell she cares about her work! I told her what I wanted & she said she was excited to do it. The vibe in there is great & the manager woman is so cool & funny! Not to mention they’re great with young kids. While I was there somebody called and asked for a 6:45pm appointment, the manager told them “yes we’ll stay for you” even tho they close at 7! Prices are reasonable too! Don’t sleep on Pro-File ?
