A nice little place to have a meal! You do not see much from the street, but once you enter this restaurant, you find a comforting atmosphere with a friendly staff.
We chose a cheese plate to begin, recommendations by the staff were very nice!
We really wanted to try the Truffled Tortiglioni & Cheese Sauce dish, so we ordered it as a side dish.
She enjoyed the Stuffed Chicken with Pomegranate Glaze and I had the Seared Strip Loin with Sweet Potato Purée & Broccolini. Both were delicious!
My one issue was the wine service was a little lacking. After the first pour from the staff, I was left to pour our own glasses afterwards. Not the end of the world, but a nice service that is standard at other similarly priced restaurants.
Overall, definitely worth stopping by to try their food and enjoy a nice evening out!

Great service and atmosphere! The food, however, was satisfactory. If it wasn't for the Pork Belly appetizer, we would've given the food 2 stars.

My husband had the short rib and I had the halibut for the main course. My husband thought the rib was not as moist as he'd hoped. My halibut was dry and lacked flavor. The chard sauce did not compliment the fish. The best item on the dish was the saffron spoon bread. It was light and had a wonderful flavor.

We enjoyed the experience largely due to Jackson's service, but the quality of the food did not match the price. Unfortunately, we will not be going back.

Is the food good? Well, it's alright but this place is not fine dining whatsoever, prepare to salt and pepper everything, they don't ice your water and don't even put salt or pepper on the tables. The portions are incredibly small, it's a highway robbery! If you want fine dining go to the Shadowbrook the cost is the same and you will get proper portions and seasoning. This place was a thorough waste of time, I expected a proper fine dining restaurant and the results were mediocre at best, this place is simply too big for it's britches. If you like steak DO NOT order from this place they only serve it blue and will give you 2 ounces of beef, it's a joke, they should be ashamed. DO NOT pay fifty dollars for a steak less than 10 ounces

This place was fantastic everything was so remarkable. I was not expecting everything to be so delicious.

What we ordered
1. Beet and artichoke soup
2. Fresh delicate Burrata
3. Chicken risotto with chantrelles
4. Kiwi tart

And all of them are now my favorite hehe
Caleb was our server and he was so great:)
Cozy atmosphere, perfect date night and cant wait to come back <3

We tried this restaurant for the first time on Friday night, and it was fantastic. What a gem. The food was great, it was different, but in a good way. It was great to give our tastebuds something to be excited about! Try Persephone, you won't be disappointed. And, we will be back!

We went for the first time ever yesterday and LOVED it!

I couldn’t take a picture of everything we ordered because I was too excited to eat but here’s the breakdown:

Overall Experience
-Staff are sweet and friendly
-Plenty of parking around the restaurant
-We sat outdoors and had a beautiful view of the woods below but there’s also indoor seating

What we ordered (the menu changes!)
-Budino with Roasted Grapes: excellent
-Caesar Salad: great dressing
-House Made Sourdough Focaccia: standard delicious focaccia but the hummus stole the show
-Boneless Beef Shortrib: pictured below and it was amazing. I loved every bite and even the broccolini was addicting
-Fogline Farm Stuffed Chicken with Spaetzle: my partner ordered this meal and I only got ONE, albeit delicious, bite since he ate it so fast and didn’t share
-Brownie ala Mode: I don’t even like chocolate but loved this
-Seasonal Sorbet Trio: Incredible. The kiwi flavor was outstanding as it had the perfect balance between the sweetness, and tangy tartness of an actual kiwi

Fine dining and Santa Cruz don't usual go hand in hand, but Persephone might just change that. Saying the food was amazing is an understatement. Loved the food, loved the service, looking forward to going back.
