I requested to work from home for one week and got a peel. I did not peel at all. I waited one month to do another peel. I requested to work from home for one week again, and this time I did peel. I got the second peel 2.5 weeks ago. My skin is the same as it was before the first peel, with a little more acne. I found the whole experience so frustrating. I will say Elisa was very kind. But my skin is the same with just a little more acne.

Elisa is honest and will not recommend anything for the benefit of her sales. She will explain and recommend what you need/would benefit from. I have complete confidence in Elisa and her business. I absolutely love this place, and even more specifically my esthetician Mallory! I have been coming here for a few years now, and every single visit has been extremely thorough. Everything is curated for your skin type and addresses your concerns. They don’t just bring you in, do your facial and send you home, they go above and beyond to make sure you’re on the path to clear radiant skin. From the moment you arrive they will go into depth about your concerns and goals and will even go through your home care routine and all the ingredients in the products you’re currently using and then adjust your home care routine so that it is better suited for you. When they adjust your home care routine they will offer a more budget friendly option (drugstore etc) and some higher end facial products (which in my opinion aren’t that huge a price jump from drugstore anyways). And if they think a different facial service is better suited for you they will also recommend it for you instead. The entire team has always been personable, honest, and thorough. Mallory has been absolutely amazing working with me to combat my acne and always checking in on me for updates! Because of her I feel confident in my skin 🙂

I've been seeing Mallory for years - she is a true master esthetician that is so kind and genuinely cares for each of her clients and their skin concerns. I have hormonal acne and Mallory has been there to support me and recommend the best treatment based on what my skin needed at that time. Mallory always walks me through every step of the facial. By the end of my treatment my skin is glowing and I'm totally relaxed.

I'd never had a chemical peel before, but Mallory recommended a Get Glowing peel series. She walked me through every step and the expected aftercare. She also followed up with me after the appointment to check on my skin!

I’ve been coming here since 2021 and I absolutely love how knowledgeable the estheticians are. I never had a facial before so I wasn’t sure what to get so I called and spoke to Elisa the owner, and she knew exactly what facial would be best for me after asking me a few questions about my skin. The girls are very thorough here and remind me that the goal isn’t perfect skin, it’s healthy skin. And ever since I’ve been coming here my skin has been the best it’s ever been. And that’s coming from someone who has dealt with eczema and sensitive skin her whole life! I recommend this place to anyone in the SD area looking for some quality facials.

I cannot praise Peel Simply Skin enough. I have been going there for facials for the past five years probably and have never found anywhere else that even comes close. Elisa has done wonders with my skin and I trust her to do whatever she thinks my skin needs. I moved to the UK late last year and it has been a struggle. I can’t seem to find anyone here that can address my skin needs like Elisa, and I legitimately plan my trips to San Diego around her schedule now, so I can make sure to get a facial with her. Elisa is a dream! She is so knowledgeable and so kind. I feel so comfortable in her care. I feel like I found someone I can trust, who really knows what they are doing, and who can guide me through my acne journey. Elisa really takes her time and she really cares. I do not feel like I am just an appointment she is trying to get through. She always takes extra time with my appointments and she goes out of her way to fit me into her schedule. She makes herself available via text in between appointments. Really above and beyond in customer service!!!

I have been working with Elisa for the past 5 months, going in monthly for facials or peels. She has improved my cystic hormonal acne so much. I love that her approach includes her services, but she also makes recommendations for diet/lifestyle to improve acne. She never pushes products or feels like she’s trying to sell you something.
