I had an amazing experience with Anna, who did the most flawless Russian manicure I’ve ever had! She’s such a perfectionist, and the attention to detail in her work really shows. My nails came out incredibly smooth, pretty, and just perfect. On top of her exceptional skills, Anna was also great to chat with, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The salon itself is lovely. Very clean, stylish, and with a relaxing atmosphere. Ester, the receptionist, is super outgoing and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I can’t wait to come back!

I live around the corner from this salon and I had never heard of it. Well it was my lucky day. I had my first Russian manicure and I am hooked. Diana did my nails and her attention to details was amazing. I will be back. The salon is so cute and everyone is very nice. It is hard to notice from the street but if you are in the sherman oaks area you have to check this place out!

I’ve been wanting to try a Russian Manicure and I yelped this place and made an appt with Ana. She was very knowledgeable and knew it was my first time and explained everything.
She did a great job. She opened a new sterilized pack to use on my nails and even gave me the nail file to take home.
I am a dental hygienist and wash my hands a lot everyday. My cuticles grow so fast.
I like that the polish is so neatly close to my cuticle line. It looks sooo pretty.
Let’s see how long this lasts. She said at least four weeks. I’m sure I’ll be back. It’s pricey but may be worth it for me if I don’t have to be back for awhile.
I would definitely see Ana if you want to try it.

Have been going to this nail bar since they opened and am religiously there every 4 weeks for my mani/pedi. I absolutely love this place! The ambiance, the service, the absolute amazing vibe! There aren't many places like this out there and, trust me, once you try them you will never go anywhere else. My technicians are Anna & Tatev. All their staff are amazing and the owner herself is just a wonderful person! They definitely never disappoint. Thank you for getting my nails ready for the Holidays!

Today was my second time here, both visits have been with Anna. She’s sweet, attentive, and detail oriented! My first visit I had a Russian pedicure, this time just a traditional pedicure. Both times, my toes came out looking great! The only downside seems to be that they don’t give foot massages.
The salon itself is cute, clean, and cozy. The entire staff is friendly, too!
Definitely would recommend!

When my husband and I visited Painted Pretty, it turned out to be very disturbing.

We arrived and discovered that the door was locked, yet it was an hour after the shop opened and there were customers being serviced inside. The receptionist eventually saw us and walked over with keys and unlocked the door. After letting us inside, she oddly locked us inside.

My husband then asked the receptionist, “I’m just curious. Why does your Painted Pretty lock their customers inside?” The receptionist responded, “Because bad things have happened in our store.”

Concerned, my husband asked, “Like what kind of things?” The receptionist didn’t answer him. Instead, she became very defensive and asked, “Why do you want to know?”

My husband then explained how he was a former law enforcement officer and a professional in crisis management, and that locking doors without emergency panic bars is unsafe (from fire or other crisis) and violates Occupational Safety and Health regulations.

The receptionist from Painted Pretty just rolled her eyes at us and didn’t even respond. She acted like we were trying to cause trouble. So my husband reassured her that it wasn’t personal, but that we were just informing her of important information that could possibly save a person’s life. But the receptionist just grew more irritated and angry and would continuously cut him off stating, “Locking our customers inside is a part of our shop’s policy.”

We then explained that if an emergency happened and a customer gets hurt as a result, the Painted Pretty could find itself in legal hot water.

The receptionist just went on with her business, looking annoyed. Obviously, I didn’t feel comfortable. So my husband and I ended up leaving.

I made sure to take a video of the shop’s employees keeping the entrance door locked. For cautionary purposes, we plan to inform the proper authorities of the Painted Pretty’s practices. We wouldn’t want a customer or staff member to get injured or worse due to an emergency.

I just wanted to share my story.
