I can’t believe this place has the rating it does, because it was the worst massage have ever had in my life. There is absolutely no way that the woman who gave me my “deep tissue” massage was trained or licensed. She didn’t know a single massage tactic, wouldn’t apply any pressure unless I asked her to, and then just proceeded to make the same motion with her elbow in my back for the rest of the time. I booked this appointment while in Santa Barbara on a trip as I'm having terrible back spasms and I actually left this massage feeling worse, which is shocking. Waste of time and money--if you're reading this, I recommend choosing another Thai massage place.

EDIT after seeing the response from owner: I did stop the massage multiple times to politely ask for what I wanted. There was a language barrier. Fellow customers should notice that the owner's response took absolutely no accountability for the sub-par experience.

The BEST Thai massage in town and I’ve been to all of them! I tell everyone about this place. The space is Always clean, and the women are strong and skilled masseuses. I’ve never had a bad experience. Very friendly professional people working there👍🏽

Orchid Thai massage is a great place to go for a massage in Santa Barbara. It has easy parking and the rooms are quiet and private and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I have had several massages from BB at Orchid Thai and she is a wonderful and very talented massage therapist. She can provide any pressure level that you want with great massage technique including very beneficial stretching. I highly recommend her for your next massage.

Echoing what others have said... I had a very positive experience at Orchid Thai Massage & Spa. Every interaction was positive from calling to make the appointment (they were able to get me in very quickly and the gentleman at the front desk was very sweet when I got there) to the parking (easy!) and the massage itself w/Meaw (6 stars!). I have been moving and unpacking and my body was wrecked. Meaw straightened me right up. I felt better immediately. I will be back!

THE BEST MASSAGE!!! JC and Paula are AWESOME!! they don’t just depend on oils, their technique is excellent! The stretches towards the end will certainly make you want to extend your massage time.

All 5 stars deserved here. Super clean, professional, and this will be my new go-to Spot in SB now. Have been to zen massage over on milpas and this is way better. Highly recommend Meaw along with all the other 5 star reviews she has!

This is the best massage place in Santa Barbara! I have a fair amount of sciatic pain in my legs and shoulders when I lay down to sleep at night, and all my pain goes away after getting a massage at orchid Thai. They incorporate stretching into the massage so that not only do they work out your muscles but also do a great job on your joints. Highly recommend them!
