I love this salon. It’s always so clean and peaceful here and the staff is so friendly and talented. The owner, Moon, Is a fantastic business woman who cares deeply about customer service not to mention an incredible nail artist in her own right. I’ve been coming to this place since they opened and I’m always so grateful that I found someplace that takes such good care of my nail health. I get hard gel or gel extensions here and they take such care to protect your nailbeds and even help you grow out your natural nails. I’ve been to a lot of other nail salons in Santa Monica and this is absolutely by far the best if you want long nails with beautiful nail art that doesn’t destroy your natural nail. I would always recommend getting gel over regular polish. I feel like regular polish has had a lot of formula changes in the last decade and it just doesn’t stay no matter where you go. The gel polish I get here lasts beautifully, longer even than the recommended three-four weeks. so glad i found this place!!

I live in Santa Monica and this is my go to nail salon! I’ve gotten a variety of pedicures and manicures and love the attention to detail that Angie has. My nails last for weeks and I come back about once a month for more builder gel/gel x, which helps me grow out my natural nails.

Recent discovery for me but super impressed so far. I just tried gelx extensions and both times they have been so sturdy and it’s great knowing the salon has a warranty period. Everything is clean and scheduling is easy. Kevin did an amazing job with my recent nails and all freehand. Will be back many more times!

ASK FOR ANGIE! She is incredibly talented, kind, and takes her time. These are the best nails I've ever had, I was so impressed I couldn't believe my eyes. She did exactly what I asked for from my reference picture and made sure each nail was shaped perfectly. We did builder gel and an airbrush aura design. I will definitely be coming back because Angie slayed!! Thanks girl!

Have been coming here for the past year and each time my experience has gotten worse. I'm moving out of state and came here to get my gel builder nails removed and my toe nail polish removed. Super simple and not a pricey service but I've spent hundreds at this place so expected to be treated the same. I traveled all the way here from West Hollywood because I genuinely wanted to come here one last time before leaving California. Showed up at 10am to be sure to get in and out but they weren't there. I came back 15 minutes later and NOT ONE CUSTOMER had arrived yet. I told them what I needed done and the guy tried to tell me if I wanted my cuticles cut that I'd have to pay for the manicure service which is a lie because I've been coming here for over since it opened. While the lady took of my polish more customers poured into the shop and no one came to do my nails. Instead they started a couples pedicures and a girl's nails show as getting a full set. Mind you, I WAS THE FIRST CUSTOMER IN THE SHOP. Was so terrible of an experience I can't believe I ever recommended this place to anyone in the past. If you wanted to be treated with respect and given basic customer service for somewhere else I guess. As I sat down at a table and looked around waiting for someone to come take my nails off, I saw everyone in the shop getting serviced except me and just left. TERRIBLE.

Obsessed with this place! I used to go to Violet at her last shop and so happy she’s teamed up with some awesome people at this shop now. They have the best pedicure chairs with massagers / jets. Violet and Moon and the team are all amazing and I won’t go anywhere else!

I have an easy time making an appointment here and they are fast, but the last few times I've gone I've had some really poor experiences. I was convinced to try builder gel by the nail tech and it was applied incredibly thickly (and i thought this was the way it was supposed to be until I spoke to others and saw how natural theirs looked) then when i went to get another mani, i asked to remove it, and he said he'd leave a little on since my nails were so thin but what he ended up doing was leaving an ugly bump on each nail so you can see where the builder was and where my natural nail is. Also the woman doing my pedicure kept speaking in Vietnamese after i gave her a suggestion and i did not feel comfortable at all - felt like she and the staff were talking about me because the guy next to me doing someone else's nails kept turning back to look at my feet when she was talking to him. She also kept scraping my skin and blaming the fact that I had really short nails when she could have used acetone to remove the gel polish instead of the mechancial device. So painful and mediocre. I am traveling now and found a place in Houston to redo my nails and they did. MUCH BETTER JOB.
