They have a happy hour four wine flight tasting from 3-5pm, Monday to Thursday for only $10! Pretty great deal, and this should be at all of their locations currently. Call ahead to check.

Antonio was absolutely amazing. We were first time wine tasters and he was so helpful and patient. He taught us so much about wine tasting and made the experience a 10/10.

Part of a shared complex of wine tasting establishments along the main Solvang avenue showcasing various vineyards and wineries in the area and the nearby region.

We sampled their extensive and very varied wineflight menu which came in very informative and well themed sets.

Our server Allie was very attentive, informative and helpful all throughout our visit last Jume 2024. Highly commemdable.

Layout was a bit problematic as indoor seating had live music which made it difficult to have a conversation while the outdoir patio was along a very busy sidewalk and was the major road for motorists. Wouldn't recommend the patio during peak hours of the tourist season or peak commute hours.

Great selection of wines and service but the location and set up made it hard to fully enjoy the experience if you want to concentrate on the wine.

** Added note: Just got reminded that there is a sectioned inner courtyard area part of the shared complex for a more intimate and less obtrusive spot to enjoy the wine experience, but often limited to only one to two groups. Totally forget about it since there was already a group that took the spot when we last visited.

We just did the wine and chocolate truffle pairing it is indeed one of the best wine tasting at Solvang! Our server Allie (if I remembered correctly), is very sweet! She helped us a lot. Love the Summer Breeze and white chocolate lavender pairing!

We stumbled in with our 11 year old and were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by super friendly staff that said there’s a video game for him to play while we cooled off with a white & bubbles flight. To the side of the wine bar is a chic game room. And we enjoyed picking a few cheeses for them to make us a cheese board too. Super friendly and welcoming staff!

Came to McClain cellars for an afternoon tasting and was helped by Janet who had a wealth of knowledge about all the varieties of wine and helped us find exactly what our palate required. Such a wonderful experience and the art as wine labels were absolutely beautiful. Such a wonderful experience.

Excellent wine and knowledgeable staff. Janet was amazing - super polite, and she throughly explained the menu options. I highly recommend stopping for the wine tastings and becoming a member for extra discounts. Thanks Janet! We'll be back for more.

We had a great experience at McClain cellars! Antonio was super knowledgeable and extremely charming. He showed up for each pour as if on cue. Amazing service and even better wine!
