When we first came in, we took a good 2-3 min to look at the menu so we didn’t mind that no one was at the front…until we were ready to order. Thankfully they have a bell.

The matcha ice cream tastes soo yummy and they give you a good amount!

Their decorations are cute and there are a lot of flavors to choose from.

I would come back :0)

For all things matcha, come to this place. The variety and diversity alone of matcha-flavored things is impressive: ice creams, hot drinks, cold drinks, frappés, floats, lattes, shaved ice, etc. It's all things matcha for matcha enthusiasts. The green-themed logo and inside are great too and the decor is fantastic. I had the soft serve mixed (half vanilla, and the other half... you guessed it, MATCHA!) in a cone and it was substantial. Highly-recommended shop!

Been wanting to try this cute little cafè since I’m a fan of all things matcha flavored. Photos and reviews of the place seemed enticing. Visited around 9PM after dinner at one of the other restaurants in the plaza. There was a long line but the wait time after ordering wasn’t bad at all. We received our order in less than 5 mins.
There was not much room inside the cafè to chill or “dine in” but there were a few tables and chairs outside of the café that are shared with other surrounding establishments nearby.
My husband and I tried the Matcha with Matcha Soft serve Float and Hojicha with a Vanilla + Matcha Swirl soft serve Float.
They gave us a generous portion of the soft serve. The Matcha soft serve and Float were perfect. Nice rich matcha flavor.
The Vanilla+Matcha swirl was nice and sweet, which is what I would recommend for those who may not be used to the deep earthy strong matcha flavor since it was a nice sweet balance with the vanilla. However the Hojicha was very watered down so I didn’t really appreciate the flavor at all. Perhaps it can be attributed to the large amount of ice that they put into the cup for the “float” effect. Would probably only come back for the soft serve rather than the drink versions. A friend of ours tried the hot matcha version (not pictured) but she said it tasted more earthy like grass as compared to the iced matcha.

Don’t have much of a reference as I’m not a matcha person, but my kids seemed to enjoy it. They said it tasted a bit “powdery” but otherwise strong flavors in the matcha ice cream and teas. We tried the matcha chocolate float, a tea and an ice cream cone but instead of matcha and vanilla swirl, I asked for half and half so I can taste the two separate and together. They had never done that before, but did it for me. Wasn’t pretty but it was perfect to try them separate and together. Appreciate that they made the effort. Wasn’t my “cup of tea” as the ice cream tasted more like ice milk than ice cream but again, this is my first time. I liked that I didn’t feel as guilty eating this vs 31 Flavors :). Service was very pleasant and appreciated they customized my cone

Would recommend this place to a friend!

Their matcha and houjicha has always been high quality, which fits well with their quality brand/product presentation. Their ice cream (the matcha/vanilla pictured above) was just a *bit* icy (meaning a little watery), and could benefit from some added creaminess. However, it's a refreshing treat and not overly sweet, either.

The iced houjicha latte was refreshing as well, and had a good sweetness level (so not too sweet). Personally, I do think the drink could benefit from a little more added houjicha for a stronger flavor.

As for the matcha latte float pictured above, I didn't get to personally try it, but I have in the past, and from what I remember, it was good!

Other than that, their marketing, menu, and overall store feel is solid.

Thanks for the yummy treats Maiko!

I've been here 6 times now, and 4 away from that sweet sweet free soft serve. This place has generally been very consistent with strong matcha soft serve without being bitter. The mix with vanilla is always a good alternative and when they have the ube soft serve it's a great choice too. I remember the yuzu soda was a solid treat during a hot day too assuming it is in stock. I have had the cone, the shaved ice and the maiko special and all three have been a good treat. In the picture it's the shaved ice and they put a good amount of syrup on the ice. While the shaved ice isn't as good as some of the ones on Hawaii, this still hits the spot to cool you off. One of these days I'll get around to getting the float. Shout-out to the workers cranking out all of the desserts and keeping them asthetically pleasing during the busy after dinner hours.

Great drinks but overpriced. I got the hojicha latte with oatmilk large. Came out to approximately $10. I get hojicha in LA for $6 . You can also buy the powder and make it for way cheaper. Won't be making the drive in the future but if this is all you have near you then it might be worth the $10

They are quick. Their ice creams are all delicious. I like their unique menus. Plenty of seating space outside. The mall has many hot pot locations.

Bad: super pricy for what you get.
Bad: too much sugar in everything. It's 2022. Change your menue to low sugar low carb. Use Stevia, sugar alcohol etc. In the US we care about how much sugar and carb we consume.
