Great quality locally made products. I got the Big Sur 'Man Stuff' and it's such a nice smell. Superb for naturally based toiletries, candles etc. Staff are attentive but leave you alone to browse freely which is nice.

Great little shop on Main Street. I stopped in and ended up picking up a couple of things. Most of the items in the store are handmade by the owner. The customer service was attentive but not pushy. For anyone travelling with a pet, there is a small bench just in front of the shop where you can tie up your dog’s leash while you explore the store.

Scents you can take home with you of coastal California...

I grew up in Cali and will always love it there so the idea of bringing home a part of it with me makes me very happy.

My top pick is Big Sur and it smells like you're walking through Redwoods. Earthy and intoxicating. I'll spray some over my pillow at night in hopes of dreaming of being back there.

I also took home a Malibu mist which is inspired by a coastal morning. I can smell jasmine, musk and the ocean. I use it nearly each morning in my bathroom as I get ready for the day.

The store is beautiful and offers many scents that come in mists, lotions, perfumes, scrubs, and body oils. It might be hard to decide on one so grab a few and remember to use them when you're needing some of California in your life.

Some friends (65+ year old males and females) and I bopped into the store on a lark having noticed a sign in the window for beard oil! Had to check that out. It's definitely not the sort of place we frequent (or so we thought). The owner was delightful and fully accommodating; she instantly got a sense of who we were and what our interests and inclinations were. She invited us to participate in demos and she totally won us over. Amazing products that make sore, chapped hands and skin become soft and comfy, like magic! She even ships for free across the country (we live about as far from her store as you can live and still be in the continental U.S.A.) making our purchases such a deal! Highly recommended, and she didn't try to sell us things we wouldn't want/need.

I'm not into this type of place, but my friends are. It's cute on the outside weird smells inside but that's from all the products they carry. Kind of pricey but u have to expect that from stores on the coast and for the kind of products they sell. The owner is VERY nice polite and wants to make sure you get what you want. She doesn't have that attitude where she's just out for your money. She cares. My friends have dropped lots of money here and they say it's worth it.

I absolutely LOVE this store!! I became familiar with Lucia Apothecary over 5 years ago at their Morro Bay location. I was going to have an important interview and wanted to Smell "Memorable" -- I accomplished this with Ojai (a light clean peachy fragrance)!! It is still my FAVORITE!!
Since then, I found the Cambria store and have fun buying all different oil, scrubs, roller-ball perfumes and handmade soaps for my friends and co-workers!!
Lisa, the Owner, is a REAL down-to-earth person, and I love visiting with her when I'm in town! I will ALWAYS schedule a visit to LUCIA APOTHECARY when I am in the area -- I live in Oceanside, CA and plan a trip the around Christmas this year and CAN'T WAIT to make my many selections from a list of gifts for others and myself!!

Gem of a place! Quality products, reasonably priced & topped to the brim of containers.
Fantastic selection of scents, Not the typical, borinnngggg scents! They are unique.
I purchased "Cambria" (violet, wood, moss scent) & "Sausalito". The owner, Lisa, is friendly & attentive with good vibes. This place is a must visit when in Cambria. She also has a website 🙂
