My treatment was to be determined by my lab results, and I have not been able to get my medication yet because they have yet to send my results over to my primary. I have called my doctor and even they cannot understand why my results have not been sent yet.

Tuesday, Jan 3, 2023. LabCorp site E Meighan Blvd phone line was out of order (or phone lines were turned over to make it seem like they were closed) at 2:45 pm. I called and auto-answer came on and said we are closed, call back during normal hours. This was normal hours, so I knew something was not right. I needed services, so I called the Walgreens store that the LabCorp rents area in (see review for Walgreens and their unhelpful management). Long story short, Gadsden lab staff REFUSED to speak on a Walgreens line to me, REFUSED to call me back if manager (Walgreens nighttime) gave my name and number to them, and REFUSED to acknowledge their phone was not receiving incoming calls, even though Walgreens manager is advising so. They told the Walgreens mgr to tell me to call the LabCorp corporate number. I did that and corporate was getting same information as I was that the office’s phones were “turned over” for the day. The whole time I was there, over an hour, there were no other patients. Even in this very laidback environment, they REFUSED to call their incoming line to test it or correct it. I was extremely disappointed because other than this day, I have never had problems here. *Worth mentioning. There is normally a small-framed, white, older lady that is always at the front desk. She was not here on this evening. My thought is that the phones were turned to closed on purpose. I may be mistaken, but that’s the feeling I got from the guilt-feeling in the air. I wasn’t even upset so much about that, but the fact that I was trying my hardest to get an answer about if the had my order and if they were going to be there long enough to get my test done. I was trying like heck to get this info, BEFORE burdening someone else’s life to help me get there, wait and get back home. suggested ways this could have been handled to make someone’s day much easier and brighter: call the line with your cell phone to see if it is broken (when multiple people are notifying you) instead of saying well we didn’t know; take ownership, apologize, do the right thing. *it doesn’t take much to go above and beyond in your daily activities to show compassion and actually help someone. *Get away from the mentality “that’s not my job!” It’s not like I was asking you to do brain surgery. ***I have a very strong feeling that if this was their Mother, Brother, Father, Sister or any human that they cared about, it would have been handled way different. TREAT ALL HUMANS AS YOUR LOVED ONES and you will never go wrong.

Been a week tomorrow and results from Labcorp still haven't been sent to the doctor, won't be using them in the future! Can't call and talk to no one, so with that said, go somewhere else to get your labs!

I went for a drug screening and everything went smoothly!

Sent driver to this location for his pre-employment drug screen. LabCorp made an error with the first test and we had to send driver back a second time. Specimen ID was written down incorrectly causing second test to be voided out. These folks are completely inept at this location and have cost us a good employee. In fairness we have not had any issues at other LabCorp's but this location is a disaster.
