It was my 1st time coming here. I was super excited to come, especially because it was right across the street from where I lived, and since moving from SD, I was looking forward to finding a good tech. And thought, hey, it's Foster City, so it should be fine to do my nails without concerns. I called 2 days in advance, spoke to the guy on the phone, and let him know i was setting an appointment for a manicure and pedicure, and nail removal, too. I wanted to experience the whole package. And this is why I called to make sure they were not gonna be rushing. I came in, and the tech lady told me no gel, i was trying to tell her this time i wanted gel nails, not acrylic! But languagebarrierwas an issue, becauseshe didn'tunderstand me well. She didn't understand me that I wanted gel nails. And instead, all she did was a fill, she didn't even fill my nails, all she did was file them down and added the nail paint, took off all the old paint from my nails, but since I'm not very experience, I noticed what she was doing, so i pointed it out, and i was a bit confused on why she was doingthat to my nails. And I told her I wanted new nails and a mani cause I wanted my old nails off, and she was complaining that I had acrylic nails and denied me wanting to get gel nails saying something about no gel. The worst part of it all is that they respect nothing you say, and they do what they want instead. I told her, and all she said i "I thought you wanted just a fill", that was her response. I let her know that's why i had called in advance and made it very clear, and then to make things even worse, she had walk-ins, and she rushed me out of there. My nails were so bad that in that same week of Thanksgiving, my nails and the paint were already coming off. It made me so mad because she rushed on my nails even more by telling me that since I had my daughter company me, she said she didn't want me waiting long. This place was such a horrible experience and disappointed with how they treated me, tbh how they went about it. They even laughed at me in front of the other customer, putting me in such an awkward situation. But like I said, I called in advance and wanted to make sure they took their time and wanted them to make sure to avoid this issue smh. I told her, then whats the whole point of the appointment?" and I even told her in person that I came in for an appointment for a mani, pedicure, and nail removal. My toes the paint came off right away with in that same week. It was a disaster with my nails. This place just sucks, period and I wouldn't recommend any one to come, unless you got no where else and it's a last minute emergency and willing to overpay a cheap service and cheap quality of nails. If I could, I would give them a -10!!! You can see how lumpy they are. They didn't even try to align the color very well. And she charged me 120$ for this crap job, and I still tipped her 20$ to make a point, that, people got money to pay for what they want, and they got to respect it especially for the customers who call in advance for setting up an appointment, and not prioritizing on the walk ins more then the customers who are really trying to find a good tech, so we can come back. So if anyone knows anyone that they can recommend me, let me know, please ? I just moved out here, and I'm disappointed with the nail techs in Foster City ? ? smh Just angers me when we are in a really nice city. For them to act like that. Disappointed ?

I went yesterday for a regular manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was fine but my manicure (only clear polish) peeled off today after my shower. I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow. I’ve had this happen before but since I mainly get pedicures, I didn’t make a big deal out of it. Once I got gel nails and they peeled off in the pool in Las Vegas after two days and I complained but it was too late. I won’t be back.

I used to go here for nails, waxing, and hair and the owner did my hair and waxing. Then I moved, but was in the area today so I decided to do nails and waxing since I needed it. The mani and pedi was good with exception of massage which was just ok. They have a new lady doing waxing. I had to tell her 2 times that I wanted to wax my brows because when she started she had me stretch out the skin with both hands and began threading which is not what I wanted. When she waxed my lip and brow she wouldn’t let me see the final result. Later I saw that there was still hair in the middle of my lip and my design on brow (I just wanted it cleaned) was not cleaned up. I had to use tweezers at home to clean up my brows for the top part and get the few hairs she left on the under part. I will come back here for hair. The owner does my hair and she was really good, but I will not come back for nails nor waxing.

70 dólares for this no good at all , look the French nothing like I really want it very disappointed, even waiting because she was cutting someone else. Customer service very bad. She say I really know what I’m doing honest to you. You doesn’t know what you’re doing. please go back to school

Vivian did an amazing job on my nails! I got dip, 1 week later and they still look like I JUST got them done. Will definitely be returning!

Not worth the fees. Got a crappy job done for the second time. The gel peeled off the next day. Had to go back in since the technician left color off on the nail. Not worth it.

I love my experience here at La Bella Spa and salon .Staff is really nice and willing to take you in walk in basics.I love how my nails and hair came out .I recommend this place100%.

I’d give a negative one start if I could. I was very disappointed with my gel manicure service, the technician not only left my nails very patchy but also did not cover the entire nail. I had to go get the Color re done at another place only because the technician kept denying and was trying to tell me that it was how it should be. Deeply disappointed with the service. Additionally she left gel polish on my skin that hasn’t come off even washing it. Sigh! Was very hopeful
