I had an amazing experience at Kind Dermatology. I saw Dr. Dougherty about my full body hives that I had been experiencing for over a month. She was extremely knowledgeable and talked me through potential causes and treatment options. I felt listened to and well cared for.

Went in a while ago for a consultation of an ILP treatment. My dermatologist is Dr Dougherty, she was nice and professional. I was prescribed with a bleaching cream and I got severe allergy after applying it once. The doctor then said she would put in an order for a cream for me to pick up in my preferred pharmacy. Everything is fine so far. But then the pharmacy said they didn’t receive any order for me. I called in and the receptionist said someone has processed my order and it needed some time to go through. Didn’t get any update after an hour. Called in again and then this time the receptionist changed her mind and decided to say that they were having technical issue, and reassured that it will be done before they close that day and I would just go to the pharmacy’s counter to get it. Did not get anything the second day either, and my allergy has become way worse. Also they stopped answering phone call or calling me back. I had to email them to cancel my future appointment. It seems that they don’t want to help fix the issue here. Worst experience ever, not a professional place at all.

Very nice staff, but I did have a problem with one of them. My other problem with this business is that it is one of many medical establishments my family and I have frequented over the years that doesn’t follow up with a survey or any questions regarding the visit and treatment performed. From eye doctor to oncologist, dentist to family practitioner- there’s always been a questionnaire sent afterward via email.
In my situation here, I did want to raise some critical points. When I returned for a follow up , I even looked for a suggestion box where I could leave a note. None to be found. I am surprised that they don’t value feedback. That seems highly unusual. I would rather complain in private than in public.

Dr. Wanda Kim Hayes was so rude to me and dismissive that I nearly cried in the office checking out. She actually ignored me and walked away (to the surprise and awkwardness of the receptionists) when I tried to speak up and say "if i've done anything to offend you i'm sorry..." I arrived on time for my appointment, and I guess because of how they checked me in she had another patient that she was late for and she rushed through my appointment. Not only that, but she answered my questions in such a passive aggressive, snippy way it was shocking. She kept opening the door to look around the corner for her other patient, I get that she was busy but I was on time and asking real, thoughtful questions for a serious issue. I haven't worked with the other providers, I will try to switch to one of them and hopefully will have better luck She just so mean. Avoid her if you can.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dougherty’s for several years now and I think she is phenomenal! I began seeing her for medical skin issues, but she has since treated me for cosmetic ones, as well. She is personable, caring and thoughtful, explains things clearly and is very skilled. I have referred family and friends to her office and all of them were equally pleased. Furthermore, I have heard nothing but good things from patients of the other doctors. The office administrative staff and medical assistants are friendly, helpful and professional. I also appreciate having so many options for skincare available in the same office. I recommend Kind Dermatology and Medical Spa without reservation.
