I love these nails!! I don’t get my nails done often because I usually end up disappointed, but for the first time in a long time I left happy. Judy was very patient and attentive to detail. I also forgot breakfast before I came and I asked if I could go next door and grab some food. I left my phone and car keys behind and went and got a sandwich. Judy was so patient and understanding. Went to get a pedicure and now I have a infected foot because they were digging in my foot and it hurt so bad and it was bleeding and they still didn’t do anything about it

My mom and I have been coming to see Judy for decades now. She is wonderful! She takes the time to do the little details in a manicure and pedicure. She has this extra scrub for your heels that works magic. (Seriously!). She has reasonable prices too. She also do gel, she waxes, does facials-everything! Just call ahead to make an appointment. She’s a small business.

Came in for pedicure n Jell full set … pedicure took an hour just a regular one ! Then she started on my nails .. grabbed. My hand several times slapping it for me to hold still and help her !! Was not a relaxing time ! I asked her not to put big nails ! She snapped at me that she has done this for a long time !!! And knows what she’s doing !!I was so scared to say anything !! She is mean ! Look how she pressed Acrylic nails on top of my cuticles! It’s a gross job !! I hate them !! 77$ I paid for everything!! On top of that she charged 2.25$ for using my Cc but didn’t tell me or have a sign up ? I will not be coming back here !!! I was in there for 2/1/2 hours !!

My wife has been getting manicures and pedicures for years now and thanks to me….she found Judy! I was renting next door to Judy’s back then and I mentioned her place and now it’s been decades!

Well, I am a senior now and it’s not that easy to take care of my own grooming and I made the plunge…..and had the whole thing…..’cept the nail polish!

Judy back then was a very nice person, and still is, and now I know personally that her work is great too! She’s conscientious, personable and it was actually a comfortable and enjoyable experience!!

So, you guys out there, man up and give it a try!!! It beats trying to twist, bend and turn yourself into a pretzel to do your own……and I know!!

By the way guys, she massages your feet and hands during the process and you feel good afterwards and yes, you still feel like a man!

First time here. Called to see if they had time to do a pedi. Showed up and I only had to wait a couple minutes. I got the paraffin pedi and it was great! Very reasonable price and Judy definitely took her time even though she mainly does nails, but jumped in since she had staff out.The owner, Judy, was great...she's been there for 19 years and it shows. She addresses loyal customers by name and talks with them like old friends. I'll definitely be going back.

I wasn't thrilled when I recently visited. I am new to La Mesa, and was searching for a smaller place that I could become a regular at. After reading reviews I thought this would a good place to try. I arrived right at opening since I did not make an appointment and was the first person in the store. A lady said Judy would be on her way and could get to me in 15 minutes. I waited for Judy and when she arrived, she told me I would need to come back later as she had other customers ahead of me. I'm sure this is a great shop and she does good work but from a business standpoint she lost what could have been a regular customer. Either put by appointments only, or inform your front lady to not have people wait to only be told to come back later when she has time. Perhaps being friendly would have enticed me to even come back later but she almost seemed annoyed I was waiting.

Judy is a very sweet Vietnamese woman who knows enough English to be friendly and converse about each other's life. I've been getting my pedicures from Judy every 2-3 weeks for about 2 years. She does a great job.
