5 years ago Gentle Care owners and caregivers were wonderful to work with when a friend suddenly went into hospice and needed 24-hr care for the last weeks of her life. The caregivers made it a peaceful end. Then when another friend needed care for several weeks transitioning after hospital stay, they again came through. Wonderful women have been so helpful and supportive for both patient and friends! Recommend to anyone needing help.

When my father was put on hospice it was decided that he needed 24/7 in home care this was all new to me and I didn't know how to go about the arrangements. Gentle care was highly recommended by hospice. I called the owner Mark. Mark immediately took care of everything. It was a huge relief and I can't thank him and his staff for everything they did for our family. The staff was professional and extremely caring. Dealing with a dieing loved one is difficult enough let alone trying to arrange care for them when you are emotionally overloaded. Thank you Mark and your staff for everything. My.father passed but he passed comfortably and peacefully thanks to their care.

I want to thank Gentle Care for being there for me. I was like a deer in the headlights when I suddenly found myself bringing my mom home on hospice. I was so unprepared and there support was monumental. The first time I called we were on the phone having a very long conversation and they were very comforting. Every person that they sent to my house to be with my mom had big hearts and were experienced in helping/handling an elderly person with dementia. They knew it was my first rodeo and took time to help me understand and learn how to best care for my mom.

It feels like we are still recovering from COVID days and often you can not reach a real human when you call. Gentle care always picked up the phone and promptly responded to text. Most important they were wonderful about last minute request. More than once I was desperately reaching out late in the evening, asking at the last minute for help the next morning. They never let me down.

Initially I asked Gentle Care to write something and I would post it. I wanted to hit the points that were important to them. They declined. That says something about their integrity.

I live in Forestville which is Sonoma County. I think that is important to point out because their office is in Marin County.

This is also a family owned business that was ran initially by their mom for decades. Now her kind and compassionate children are in charge.
