Fork Lift by Nugget Markets is a gem! The deli offers an incredible selection of sandwiches—fresh, flavorful, and well-crafted. My go-to sandwich is either the “Texas Hold’Em” or “Calistoga”.

The store itself is clean, well-designed, and has a high-quality selection of groceries. Definitely worth a visit!

I’ve been a fan of Nugget since I discovered the flagship market in Davis in ‘05. I always make a point of stopping at Forklift if I’m going up to Tahoe on 50. Just nabbed some pork belly for my famous pork sisig burritos. Great location!

Extension of Nugget, can find some fairly niche products and always a great selection of meats, seafood's, cheeses, and libations.

Fairly pricey, unfortunately. Not sure how well it caters to the local demographic. Despite the rustic vibe, it's not a community marketplace, they are very corporate and strict about things like posting community events.

There's only a few things these days I'll come for. I'd avoid the produce. Nearly every trip I've come home to find mold in my produce or see in spoil within days.

Love the many options and prices. They have some raw dairy options for butter, cheese, kefir, etc. avaliable. There are quality bone broths and some grass fed meat options. Do watch out on the produce. It can be close to the expiration.

What a great store! Many things available in bulk with good prices. The bakery is amazing. So much great prepared food! Salad bar, many other salads. I tried the Mediterranean salad which was amazing! Lots of cakes that look so good! The meat department here is great. Many great steaks all for good affordable prices!

The staff here is all very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning about would recommend them anytime!

I really like shopping at Forklift, with the exception of the meat, specifically the chicken. In the last 3 months, I have purchased their chicken that they package themselves, 3 times. All 3 times the chicken was bad, super smelly. I returned the chicken only once (very inconvenient), and they gave me new chicken, packaged by the big companies. The manager told me in person that they've had others return chicken recently for the same reason. I don't know if it's the way they package it, or if their refridgeration temps are off, but I will not buy from there again. Lesson learned. Manager said she would pass on the info to corporate, but who knows if that happened and if it was addressed at that level. It's too bad because I like the store overall. I live 3 miles from there, and each time I would open the chicken immediately when I got home, to prepare, and it was so bad. So, it's not happening on my end. Hope they figure it out.

I would have given them 5 stars if not for the guy in the meat department. Grabbed 2 racks of ribs on sale from the table that were frosty and half thawed. I asked the gentleman for the 2 that were in the case because I was going to take them home and put them on my smoker ASAP. He assured me that they were thawed and didn't even offer the 2 fresh from the case. Can't the customer just get what they want? Other than that, I love the store. I'm a regular Nugget shopper in EDH.
