I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I came in as a walk-in and spoke with the manager at the front desk, asking if they had time for a manicure, pedicure, eyebrow service, and a kids’ manicure for my 3-year-old. She assured me they did and sent me on my way to start.
While I was getting my nails done, I reminded them about my daughter’s manicure, and again, the manager said, “Yes, yes, don’t worry.” After finishing my nails, she told me to wait in the waiting room. Just a couple of minutes later, she came over and said she wouldn’t be able to finish the rest of my services.
When I asked why, she gave no real explanation and simply said they were fully booked. This was extremely frustrating, especially since she had confirmed earlier that there was enough time. To make matters worse, this isn’t the first time this has happened to me here.
I’m very disappointed with the lack of organization and professionalism. I won’t be coming back after this experience.
Also if you see the cob webs in the window i think you’ll never come back.

hello! I’m a young lady who gets there nails done every once in a while. First impressions was my spot for a while until this experience. All though I have to say Diane and Linda do very nice jobs. but I got a different person and it was horrible!! My first few times have been nice with Linda and Diane. But this was insane. I am graduating so I wanted to get my nails done. Yesterday I went in. The guy who did my toes did an amazing job. On the other hand the other guy who’s named David messed me up. He gave me a fill on my acrylics and did a horrible job. As in the pictures I posted I circle the parts where you can see my actual nail. While David was doing my nails he got mad and rushed even more. I was tired and upset and he told me to “smile” in a rude manner. I felt disrespected. At the end my mother gave him a tip. He said there was another person. My mom asked him to split the tip amongst the two and he got irritated. When I got home I told my mother the experience I had. So this morning she called them up to complain. They said I can come in at 6:30 to get them redone. When I came, the lady working asked to see my nails (didn’t catch her name). So I showed her and explained that you can still see my actual nail and acrylic from last time I got them done. She said they where fine all though I did my researched and asked people to see that I wasn’t overreacting. She stated it was just opinions and she had another client. If you had another client why then take me? I was stressed out and kept repeating myself. She then started pushing my cuticle down and explaining something completely different. She then stopped everyone who was working there and told them to look at my nails and say they where good. I was very embarrassed because I hate getting the center of attention. All the workers started talking and the customers started looking as me as well as if I was a spoiled brat. All I wanted was nice decent graduation nails. They didn’t have to be perfect but definitely not lazy like how David did. I started tearing up and walked out. I’m writing this review so you don’t have to feel humiliated like I did. Please go somewhere elsewhere. It’ll save you money and the embarrassment. I will not return. And this isn’t the only incident that has happened according to other reviews from the past few months. Thank you Linda and Diane for great service but for the rest, thanks for public embarrassing me even though you where wrong.

Sadly my manicure moved to another state and I decided to try this salon. My old manicure used to do gel with a protective shield, ensuring my nails remained strong. My nails were strong even after the gel, I knew that because a lot of times after 2-3 weeks the gel would come off and I could see my nails, still strong and healthy as you can see in these pictures. However, at this salon, the removal process left my nails excessively polished, making them thin, weak, and painful. I strongly advise against choosing this place for your nail care needs!!

Manicure from this spot may be relaxing but gel does not last longer than 3 days. Gel/ shellac should last 2-4 weeks and this is how long it lasted for me when I had it done in other places. Within. 3 days my nails end up looking like this…not impressed. They clearly optimize for volume over quality

I don’t have a problem with both branches I just don’t like the branch in San Carlos. I filed my own nails let’s start there. The lady didn’t understand me because of lack of communication. She was making them shorter and shorter but still filing them the wrong shape. Which I don’t have a problem finding my own nails. I do have a problem when they still don’t do it right after me showing them how to do one. Then they messed them up all over again. Which ended with me just taking the file and fixing it myself which I was happy to do. She had a extremely bad attitude. Saying the boss can take over and do them which I don’t have time for. Then I asked her to fix a toenail which would’ve required her to take the color off put acrylic on to make my nails look square and she just filed my nail in a circle and said OK all done. It’s clearly not square the one she was supposed to fix. Also she didn’t want to do cuticle oil they had it. But I was ready to leave. So I didn’t bother to ask. And had an attitude about it the entire time so I probably will not come back to the location in San Carlos. I will go to the one in Belmont where at least they are very pleasant.

Absolutely the most rudest unfair nail salon I have ever heard of. My daughter went 5 days ago for a new set. Starting lifting 2 days later ans now 2, almost 3 are off!!! I called to hope they would right their wrong and she is going to tell me they don't guarantee their work?!!! SAY WHAT!!! No nails should be lifting or falling off (not broken off or banged off) that soon unless your work is that bad. Acrylic was way too thin, rush job. Terrible work and even more Terrible customer service. Never again.

This salon is super clean and modern. It's spacious and they have many nail stations. The pedicure chairs have massagers and work really well. In addition to the nice environment and amenities, my nail technicians did an excellent job. The pedicure was luxurious and included a nice massage. Both my toes and hands turned out perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back!

I come to this place very often so this time one of the ladies did a bad job with my gel manicure it looks all lumpy. I didn’t noticed until I got home. I called to let them know, they told me come over anytime to fix it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time until 1 week later. I show up and spoke with Christina, I told her what happen, she was very rude. “She started to tell me, I don’t find you in the system, we don’t do that kind of manicure”
I showed her my receipt, she didn’t know what to say after. I do understand accidents happen and all I wanted was to fix my nails. But nope she want to charge me again. As a professional business all she need it to do is fix it and get it over. Not behave angry and rude. I just walk away no need to involved with her negative vibe. I will never come back to this place. I paid $85 dollars for a bad job. Feel disappointed of this place🥺
