I've come to see Emily for nails three times now and she has yet to disappoint! Her turnaround time for Gel X refills is SO FAST, and she can do all the 3D art I desire! EM Beauty Nail Spa is also in a great location and close to the rest of the downtown Millbrae area. Her prices are fair, she honors her appointments, and her nails always come out looking so clean and beautiful! I highly recommend coming!

Edit - Feb 2025 - Emily is still an amazing nail tech and a true wizard with Gel X designs! I've come to her an additional four times now and the photos speak for themselves. I really enjoy how efficient and easy my nail appointments are at this salon and will keep coming back!

I got my nails done at EM nails the day before my wedding. Right before my wedding ceremony one nail randomly fell off… Within 72hrs of getting my nails done 4 fell off. I paid $100 for gel nails.. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of their work. I cannot believe these nails randomly fell off my fingers!!! No idea how that even happens with gel nails!!

Emily's nail artistry is truly the best I've ever seen -- in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, LA, and elsewhere. She and her talented staff can paint anything and do any style, foil, chrome, painted designs, gems, marbling, etc. She always takes the time to shape the nails perfectly (I do dip powder) and the pedicures are also thorough. Salon is large, clean, and well-stocked. It's literally across the street from the Millbrae BART station and right off El Camino with plenty of street parking -- worth the trip!!!

I'd give EM Beauty Nail Spa 7 stars if there were that many. 🌟

Had good first time experience. Dora asked me if I liked the nail paint when she first applied. I didn’t like it so she happily changed it. Pedicure was also good. Will recommend this place.

Amazing service and they did a phenomenal job on my nails. I felt so comfortable with their sanitation with Covid too. Highly recommend!

The only reason I came here was because reading the good reviews. Wish I would have read the bad ones.
The first time I came in one month ago, I asked Emily how much a full set is and she told me $45. (I have the text saved), I sent her a picture of what I wanted and asked her if she can do it and with confidence she said yes. I have had marble done and powder is used, Emily used nail polish. At the end of the session she said I owe $80 for a job that I told to her face, I didn't like.

Then today I went in again, wanted to give her another and before she started on my nails I asked her how much it will cost and she said $45. She didn't use the color I choose and at the end of the session I gave her my card and she charged $50 & I asked her and she said it was because she cleaned my cuticles. Every place I have been before this place, never charged me extra to clean up my cuticles.

I don't recommend this place. To me she steals and people like me just pay and leave but this review is for the people who are like me and don't fight back.

Where do I begin with how amazing Emily is. I have been going to her the past 6 years. I have followed her through 2 salons and now she finally has her own salon! I first found her through yelp and this small salon had raves of her skills in 3D nails. I was hooked after the first time. She does my eyebrows pedicures acrylic nails and all of my nail art. Her skills through the years have improved so much. She is constantly pushing herself to learn the latest trends. I bring her any nail art I find on the internet and Emily always comes through with amazing work. I am loyal to her talent that when I lived in Antioch for 2 years I would drive down to Millbrae once a month for her to do my fills and designs because I only trust her. This new salon is cute, super clean, friendly, and she has all the latest colors, designs, acrylics and more. I just got my first set at the new salon and I’m beyond happy as always. Emily does not rush she takes pride in her work this is huge to me when you’re spending good money on designs etc. if you continue to visit Emily she will become a friend she’s more than just a nail tech. I recommend her to everyone I know and would highly recommend anyone to visit.
