(They are always looking after my daughter, seeing what's good for her to do better at school) This was my first view of this school now I'm lowering my review to two stars because of this crazy incident that happened with my daughter that could have been avoided if a staff member by the name of Mrs.Perkins would have followed procedures and would have taken a toy gun away from my daughter when she brought it in question, my daughter started going to this school since its very first opening, she never disrespected her teachers, classmates, or staff members, the principal Yesenia Fitzhugh did everything she could to have her suspended for one year for playing with a toy gun during recess, nothing was taken into consideration, I didn't see the principal looking for a positive outcome for her all she did was keep searching for crazy clues to have her suspended, asking questions to students to see if they where afraid at the sight of a toy gun I can't imagine how badly did those kids where harm psychologically when asked that type of question when is just a toy but even though the children where more mature in their answers even saying why should I be afraid of an orange toy gun that don't even fire anything, I hope Mrs. Perkins and the principal Yesenia Fitzhugh are very happy with the outcome, it's A ten year old she was dealing with, the 10 day suspension should have been enough for her to learn her lesson since this was her first time being on the office for something of the matter, the principal took it overboard by putting a recommendation for a long term suspension of one year period, is way to much, but I will not stop until I make myself heard and my daughter will speak out how she feels, the worst thing about all of this is that is also affecting my youngest daughter that is a 6 year old, she cries every day and seems loss because her sister is not going with her to school any more, the school official didn't do to much I guess since he's under the school he's not going to go against the principal's recommendation he didn't take into mind all this could have been prevented if the person who's an adult and that knew it was not ok for her to have the toy should have taken it away in the first place don't let her walk away with it in her possession. And Mrs. Fitzhugh I let the days past by watching the messages on class dojo to see if you worried about Darianna at all, but not even one message asking if you could send anything for her to work on at home, that's how I know you do not care about her.
