I am so happy to have found this barber shop. I have short curly hair, and it has always been difficult to find someone who knows how to cut my hair as a woman and make it look as feminine as possible. I will definitely be back.

Always trusted the women who work at Chela’s Beauty & Barber Shop—they are like family to me with how long I’ve been going. Angela and Susie are always on top of taking care of their clients and remain friendly, supportive, and engaging during your hair cut. They ask questions with you before they begin to make sure you’re on the same page and so are they with what you’re expecting. They are always open to all kinds of haircuts—and with how long they’ve been at it, I can see just how they’re so very well equipped to handle all kinds of styles. Angela has been my main stylist and she always understands my hair needs alongside gives me her honest opinion if you want to make sure a certain hair style could fit your face. But that has come with all the time I’ve gone here, that we’ve developed that kind of trust from client to stylist. But even when it’s just Susie around, I trust her wholeheartedly as she is just as technical, accommodating, and understanding—and their speed alongside their accuracy is always great to see. Currently, the owner, Chela has been going through medical complications and because of that she hasn’t been in the salon but I remember when she was there at the salon with her daughters. To see a family work, uplift, and grow together in their skills as they have is so inspiring.
