Great store, wonderful customer service.
My issue is with 2 of their current products. The candle wax melts do not smell even if you add 2 squares to the warmer. And the car air fresher scents only last 4-7 days max.

I went here today for the first time getting stuff for myself and birthday gifts after my sister gifted me stuff from here for my birthday. I had my toddler with me and he was a handful today and the staff didn’t miss a beat! I felt scared because the store was so clean and nice but one of the staff members quickly helped distract my toddler while I shopped. She was so very kind and understanding - I couldn’t thank her enough for helping me out with my toddler. Being a single mom is HARD so when strangers jump in and help I will always be forever grateful. Y’all have definitely won me over for life not only for the quality products but the amazing in store experience I had today!!

I had the pleasure of stopping into Buff City Soap Company on my way to work today!!! The shop was very well organized and had great descriptions of every item they offer. The employee on staff was super helpful. Once I told him this was my 1st visit he let me look around, asking questions as I went without bombarding me with endless high pressure sales tactics. I love that!! They were having a great sale plus they had mystery bags for $5!!! My mystery bag had 1 bar of soap and a bath bomb. This is definitely going to be my new "go to" soap stop.

I will not be shopping at your Hoover location any more due to the poor customer service from the SAME person on multiple visits in the Riverchase location. This week is the last straw. Spending over $100 for soap (although I love it and giving it as gifts) to be treated so rudely repeatedly won't happen again.

I’ll drive to the 280 store for my needs from now on. Shame as this store is 1/2 from my office.

I do not like leaving negative reviews. My daughter and I walked in last night. We have never been before. There were 2 female employees sitting in the back of the store with buckets on their lap. They talked to each other the entire time we were in the store. We were not greeted. For a long while, we were the only customers in the store. We had no idea how things worked or what products would be best for us to try. Later, we noticed a man at the register. He also never spoke to us. It was so weird and uncomfortable. If I hadn't promised my daughter to go and try a new soap, I would have just walked out. It was so bad that I began opening the cabinets to look for a scent that was out of stock in the item I wanted to buy. Still, no one offered any help. I could have spoken to them and asked, but at this point, I was angry and no longer cared. I did save a ton of money because I only purchased 3 small items. Normally, we want to try everything. A small amount of customer service would have gone so far with us. The man who checked us out was normal once we got to the register. However, it was too little too late for me. The entire staff needs to be replaced or intense training on basic customer service or even friendliness. I recommend finding another location or just going to a similar store. Lush is my favorite. They know how to help customers and are so friendly. I wanted to try their product before leaving a review. I've showered twice and didn't even bother. I don't want to like it, because I don't want to go back to that store again. I cannot review the quality of their products, only the experience. It was awful.
