I was impressed! I’m not from the area and decided to stop at this boba drink spot. It was everything one could ask for and more. Highly recommend. Drinks are one of a kind delicious.

The roasted oolong tea was so good! Not too sweet, and perfect consistency. The strawberry drink looked pretty, but was too bitter and the strawberries didn’t taste fresh.

Order at kiosk only. No cash accepted.

Drinks take awhile to make, even tho it wasn’t busy.

I am a huge boba lover. When I first moved to Rocklin, the city was dry when it came to boba choices. Everything around was poor quality, sugary powder mixed in milk -- nothing comparable to what I was used to back in the Bay. Then, Bubble University came about and it is the only place I frequent, I come here at least twice per week at minimum.

Recently, however, I ordered a drink that requested pearls but the pearls were forgotten. My years of being a middle school teacher have taught me be petty and hold people accountable. I came back today to order another boba and requested the missing pearls be provided. The person at the counter was happy to abide and provided me a small cup of pearls which I happily slurped in the car as a amuse bouche before my drink.

Olly was very kind. I was not a fan of the Thai milk tea boba and he happily suggested and remade a different drink that I actually really liked. For this reason I'm happy to return.

So I have to add another review for their fresh taro drink. As a Taiwanese, I was Craving for real taro drink, if you don’t live in big city like New York or LA, there’s no way you can get real taro drink. Most of the taro in drink or desert is either from cans or use flavor powder . But this tea shop use real taro for the fresh taro drink. The only down side for the drink is they don’t add enough taro, it’s only 2 or 3 sips for me to easily finish the taro in the drink. But it’s very tasty for me.

Very odd service and atmosphere. You walk in and you are pretty much ignored. You have to order off a kiosk (and asked for a tip). There is literally no experience with this place it's like interacting with a vending machine lol. The drinks are great so at least there is that.

Current Review:

This place has improved immensely since our last few trips here. By far our favorite boba place in this area. The tea selections are amazing here and there’s a lot of variety. We get our little guy the brown sugar milk too which he loves. I get the okanawa or the house tea and it’s absolutely amazing. Try this place out!

Updated Review 10/20/22:

My wife and I tried this place again and our boba tea was a lot better this time around. We got the brown sugar organic milk tea and it was delicious! Definitely way better than the jasmine tea we tried previously. Happy bobaing!

Previous Review:

Tried their jasmine milk tea and was left disappointed. Felt that it was more expensive than other boba tea places I’ve tried around the area. Portion sizes were fairly small as well. I’d look elsewhere since the selection of boba places are numerous around the area.
