I called this shop to see if they were the right place. I’m looking for for a leather reconditioning on an item the owner or whoever answered the phone I’m assuming the owner was disgustingly rude to me and hung up on me, saying that he did not offer my services and that if I would have stopped talking “two minutes before that““ he would have told me that basically referring that I was talking too much or something trying to explain my situation to him totally unprofessional rude. I can’t even believe any place would be so unprofessional like that unless they’re not getting business or something is probably why so just wanted to leave this review for any future people beware if you do go to his shop, he is a very rude attitude old man unhelpful , and I’m surprised he own business. Honestly I don’t need reviews ever and this is my first review there you go and thank you sir ha ha wow unbelievable especially for The Orangevale/Folsom area where he’s located at off Main Avenue. I grew up in that area very nice neighborhood and price. You know a little above the average priced homes in that surrounding area to own, I’m disgusted at the non hospitality he treated me with, and again this was only over the phone !! Curious to know how the interaction would’ve played out in person lol although Soo glad it won’t be necessary what services I’m looking for!!!!

I thought these bags might be over-priced.
That was 30 years ago and they're still going strong!
Now I think otherwise.
Although the retailers come and go, these products prove themselves to be a great investment as Bob's continues to make outstanding products.

I'm going back for another belt to fit my expanding waistline.

My Dad used to take me to Bobs Leather when I was 8 years old and when we walked in there it seemed like Dad had known these guys all his life! We went back when I was about 13 and got some repairs done then Dad bought new bags from Bob's right then and he handed me his newly repaired set and Bob cut me out a new belt that fit me and I used those bags until I was 20 years old! This company has served the best carpenters I've ever had the good fortune to have known and now I'm 54 years old and still insist upon using ONLY Bob's Leather nail bags and accessories. If you need professional grade custom tool bags you need to go to Bob's. This is my 2nd set and the 1st set is almost 15 yrs old now. I'll retire before this set does.

My first 5 years I spent 3-4 hundred dollars on nylon bags systems. ?. Nylon belts are trash! Extremely flimsy and dig in the hips and pinch the Sciatic nerve causing pain and back problems. I Tried thicker padding on belt with suspenders and even ordered a vest (didn’t fit). I found a occidental 4 inch leather belt for 100$! A ABSOLUTE MIRACLE?! Once the leather broke-in I was in heaven. Eventually bought the back pads with the Wool liner, (doesn’t make me sweat) I went to Bob’s leather for the bags and drill holder. 10 years later I still use them every day

Very disappointed. My husband and his family have been long time supporters of Bob's. Everyone of their nail bags has come from him. Today my husband stopped in to have some custom bags made and he was turned away..... Unfortunately he will be looking elsewhere for his bags.
