I went for a work dinner on a Thursday night and it was really mellow. We sat outside and they had heat lamps that kept the temperature of the table pleasant.

We had beers and cider with a Brie plate and Brussel sprouts. I would highly recommend the sprouts. For the main I had a the Bee Sting and enjoyed every single bite. The hot bee honey was a nice touch with the pepperoni. Others had the pepperoni and sausage which was good too.

Really well done traditional pizza. Sauce and toppings weren’t overwhelming, dough was perfect, and cheese wasn’t the focal point of the pizza.
Very Sicilian style in my opinion and very well executed.

Local beverages were a huge plus too.

Nice restaurant with open kitchen in downtown SLO. Friendly staff. We had the autumn 2024 menu with Brussel sprouts, roasted vegetables and the bee stang pizza (Detroit style). Everything was good.

Second time eating here and the food is consistently five stars. We had the chili, meatballs, little gem salad and roasted root vegetables. Little gem salad paired perfectly with the Vermentino. Completed the meal with the Bananas Foster and highly recommend saving room for this dessert!
Rated the service 4 star as we felt rushed with our 9PM reservation and by 9:40 felt like the dynamics had shifted to making sure everyone was done and out by 10:00. Better to have a reservation earlier in the evening or just sit at the bar.
Our server was quite attentive with a friendly demeanor.

This was a pleasant surprise to stumble on. This pizza was delicious. The bar staff was friendly. Only thing I would change is how the beer salad was presented - with the arugula plopped on top and hiding everything and made it harder to share. We thought it would have been better flipped the order. That being said, the pizza options were delicious. Detroit style was crispy and flavorful. And the Sicilian style pizza crust was light and airy. We Would come back

I came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a reservation. We ordered the Cesar salad and Brussel sprouts for our appetizer and then 3 pizzas (a pepperoni for the kids, the butternut squash and the mushroom Detroit style).

The appetizers were fine, pretty much what you'd expect. The kids liked their pepperoni pizza. I wasn't a fan of the butternut squash pizza. I was happy they had a dairy free cheese but the flavor just wasn't there and tasted dry. I really enjoyed the Detroit style pizza however the mushroom one was too spicy. We ran out of water at one point and it took a while for us to flag down our server.

Overall, it was a fine experience. I think that I was expecting more based on the reviews I saw. Room for improvement on attentive service and I will try a different style Detroit pizza next time.

Fantastic experience all around! The food was amazing, maybe the best specialty pizza I’ve ever had. Oh and you have to try the cast iron cookie dessert! We also greatly appreciated the wonderful service we had, 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!
