I believe this place is overrated. It's good but really nothing special. The portions are not big, the red cabbage and pickles are more sweet than their desserts lol. The cherry in pudding is mostly tasteless and does not have a real cherry taste. The service was friendly but slow and make sure that you call and confirm your reservation if you did it online because despite we had a notification that we made a reservation nobody could find the info about us and they kept asking our names (but there was an empty table and we were able to dine). Two main courses, two small beers and two desserts were 110$ with tax and tip and around 94$ before tip (and we even did not order the appetizers). I have no idea why people are writing that they can eat for 30$ per person, that is not correct at all. The meat was good but I am not sure that I will come back. Just an average small good place to eat - nothing more nothing less.

Great food. It felt like homemade Scandinavian food. The Danish sandwiches was great and the pork meatballs too. I will for sure come back and try other dishes.

09.03.24 update - definitely one of my absolute favorite restaurants! Family owned Danish restaurant serving authentic Danish food. I had no idea how much and how long it takes to make rye bread until owner Mona shared highlights of rye bread making. The open faced sandwiches we had were amazingly yummy?

The dessert was incredibly yummy!

02.23.24 I found a hidden gem thru reviewers - thank you so much fellow googlers/yelpers! I came by today after reading reviews yesterday - that was how excited I was to try Danish food ?

It's located in a strip mall and good parking at lunch time.

We tried the appetizer meatballs which came with mashed potatoes and a touch of gravy, pickles, and pickled beets --- totally yum!

My mom ordered dessert with coffee - the pastries came with a little bit of sauce - OMG - I wanted to lick the plate ?

I ordered the open faced sliders of three different kinds - they were beautifully done I didn't want to eat that incredibly deeleeciousnessss creation!!!

Service was excellent and server was so very kind to my mom who was not feeling very well when we came in.

It ended up to be a rushed lunch visit but I will definitely be back again soon!

Fine dining quality food at affordable prices. The salmon, scallops, and shrimp had a perfect crust, were well seasoned, and were juicy in the middle. The salad and potatoes were literally perfect, do yourself a favor and try this restaurant.

Mona, the owner, is incredibly sweet and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere in the restaurant. The food is amazing, with generous portions that are fresh and of high quality. Additionally, the service is great and fast. Highly recommended!

We made our reservations and were immediately seated in our table for six. Bread and butter to start was brought to us right away, and the drink order taken. Because it was our first time, we each wanted to get something different. To start we got a House Salad and it was enough for several of us to get a taste. We ordered the Frikadellar, Bratwurst with mashed potatoes, Corned Beef Brisket, Viking Pork Stroganoff, Hakkebof, and the Forloren Hare. Don't worry if you can't pronounce it, they are very patient and will help you say it. Love the lingonberry jam to mix in with each meat/potato/gravy bite. Everyone was super happy, you could tell by the clean plates at the end. A couple of the ladies brought some of their large helping home. If there was any complaint at all, it was that one of the plates, the pork meat loaf was just a little too salty, a very minor point to a group of happy diners. We ordered three Danish Rice Puddings with Cherry Sauce to share. Such a tasty dessert. Dinner plates are priced between $20 and $25. The salads are between $7 and $13 without protein. And the desserts are $10, and you'll want to save room for it. Looking forward to coming back for a brunch or lunch meal here. This food is made with love you can taste.
