Nice spa, but not as nice as some other places. They have jacuzzi, sauna etc. spa space is a bit small, less luxurious feeling. Robes were slightly over-worn (mine was stained, slightly threadbare). Could use more get-ready space near the lockers, more relaxed calm space. Massage and treatments were nice, but not amazing. Nothing was bad, it just wasn't as good as other spas I've been to.

Currently have to rate Spa Pura at 2 due to my experience and say their facials are not black girl friendly. staff was lovely and wonderful, my esthetician was great, however I don’t think she was used to working with darker skin. I left the facial with very hydrated skin, but now everywhere she did extractions has hyperpigmentation. I was trusting in her expertise and training that she was trained to work with darker skin, but unfortunately I don’t think that’s the case. If you’re black I’d say avoid this place or don’t let them do extractions during your facial.

I really wanted to like this place because I enjoyed the ambience of its facilities. But my aesthetician started my facial late & finished early — I tipped lighter bc of it but did not say anything, I struggle with confrontation. I’m just agonized by a hesitation in returning bc I did not catch the name of who did my treatment last time. I do not want a repeat experience with her, specifically.

I used to go to Spa Pura few years ago and always had a good time there. Yesterday, however, I had a very disappointing experience.
First of all, they were in the middle of renovations. The floor in the spa was missing. It was uneven concrete all over the spa covered with some nylon rugs. It was very hard to walk around. There were cement particles and dust everywhere, including inside the jacuzzi. Also, since the spa in general is very humid, there was an elevated unpleasant smell of cement. It would have been smarter to shut down for 2 weeks, complete the construction and reopen.
The carpet in the general area was very dirty as well.
Now about the massage. The massage itself was 2 out of 5. Had way better massage experiences. Hygiene in the massage room was even worse. They didn't have a reusable sheet to lie down on over the massage table. Instead they had this thick fabric over it, which I'm sure is not being changed after every client.
I hope this review will be helpful for both the spa and clients.

I’ve been going to Spa Pura for years now and I’m never disappointed. Even though they had some renovations recently, the staff was very thoughtful and called before to inform me of the floor renovations. The spa is always clean and quiet and I can always unwind and relax.

The staff is always helpful and gives excellent service !
Would highly recommend to anyone who needs some relaxation.
My husband and I joined the membership and it’s one the best thing we’ve done since we’re both retired ! We are now regular customers ?
Just wished there’d be a clock outside the women dry sauna visible looking out the glass window so not to overstay inside the heat.

I visited this place last summer for my wife's birthday. The gift was for her but I ended up booking a facial and massage on the fly because of a last minute cancellation and let me tell you, I was happy about that cancellation and my decision to book on the fly. Not only was it a nice gesture for the staff to accommodate but they were all so pleasant and professional. Both services were absolutely amazing but I tell you what, that facial was second to none. I recommend the facial service to any and everyone. You won't regret it!!
