Great trails, great camping. I tried this place for the first time last weekend and I was impressed. There are trails of varying skill levels and they are well marked. They have good trail maps, and there is enough room that I rarely ran into other trailgoers and when I did everyone was familiar with typical trail etiquette. My only regret is that I waited until the end of summer to go try it out. I camped nearby at Sugarpine Reservoir at Giant Gap campground which is great if you are in a mixed group with people that won't be riding. It's far enough from the trails and staging that the noise doesn't reach and it offers access to the reservoir and plenty of facilities. (I think you may need plated bikes to get back up to the trails, though although I didn't notice too many rangers)

very nice trails, very nice camping facilities, the stuff is very welcoming and helpful. the lake is beautiful. there is not cell service in most of the area.

Awesome place for beginners to advanced. Took the kids and had a great weekend. Make sure you have a trail map.
