While not luxury it had everything we needed. It is located right on the beach and it was definitely a big storm so I did not mind one bit that it was a cinder block building. Our room smelled completely beachy which was also fabulous! Crappy water pressure in the shower but a small price to pay for an inexpensive place to stay.

Don't pay more than $80 for this place. Sounds like some folks ended up paying over $200, and at that price I wouldn't stay here. At reasonable prices, though, it's wonderful.

The rooms are bare bones for sure, and "breakfast" is instant oatmeal, but the view can seriously not be beat. Falling asleep listening to the waves was a wonderful experience in the middle of a long and grueling drive.

We stayed here about 5 1/2 years ago in March for $89. It was a great value. Just stayed here 8/16/24 for about $275. At that price the place is a price gouge. The location is glorious, but let's face it, the motel is literally falling apart. Our room had no screen door so we couldn't keep the door open at night to hear the waves, which is the best feature. The hot water availability is intermittent. The deck is way past needing replacement. The owners need to do some basic maintenance on the place. I would seek other options. You will get much more for your $ elsewhere.

I stayed here last week. The front desk person was awesome. The room was neat and clean. The room rate was very good. I would stay here anytime I'm in the area. Very nice motel.
