I was at fat chef last night for a date night with my wife. We had heard about the fat chef and were wondering if it was worth the 40+ minute drive.

Short Answer: Absolutely!

Long Answer: Everything was a perfect. Service was phenomenal! Wine selection was good as well. The food was amazing! There cooked the steaks perfectly which is hard to come by now days. The sides were delicious! The environment was perfect for the occasion.

Christine was right there checking on us, asking how our meal was, and chatting about life & kids.

Truly a great experience. If you are wondering if it is worth the drive, yes it is!

We have been to The Fat Chef quite a few times now and it never disappoints.
From the moment you walk in you receive the best service. The staff is genuinely happy to see you and serve you.
The food is amazing! Steaks are seasoned and cooked perfectly every time. Portions are great and we always look forward to the chef added veggies of the night. The twice baked potatoes are a must! Do not skip out on the desserts! If you are lucky enough to go on a night when they have their strawberry shortcake biscuits get them! Our favorite by far.
Over all we look forward to treating ourselves to a meal at The Fat Chef!
Amazing service and amazing food what more can you ask for!

Most amazing food and service. Went on a Tuesday evening and had no trouble getting in. I had the fresh made lemonade to drink and we started out with the stuffed mushrooms and were very pleased, what a great start. The house salad, Ceasar salad and homemade bread were very good. Turns out it was Prime Rib night. My wife had a standard queen cut, 12 oz medium and it was perfect. I asked if they had an end cut as I really enjoy the crust's flavor and they did. It was fantastic, closer to well done since it was the end cut, but great flavor and still tender. The sweet potato and mushrooms were great, as was the root vegetable compote and the battered fries. We didn't do dessert, but will have to come back one evening to do so just for a treat.

Great steaks! Delicious sides and desserts all made by the owners. Our family celebrated a birthday here for dinner. Expensive but worth it! Fine dining with a fancy menu, and choices. The interior is a bit rustic. Table and chairs detract from the fine dining experience as they are not good quality but the food makes up for it. The only downside to our meal was a rubbery lobster tail. Otherwise the food was pretty amazing and the service was good. In house desserts to die for.

My husband and I had an unforgettable dining experience at The Fat Chef in Rogers, Arkansas, near the Prairie Creek Marina. Hands down, this was the best steak we’ve ever had. We ordered the porterhouse and split it—it was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor.

The bread was fresh and delicious, setting the tone for the meal. What truly stood out was the warm, family-owned atmosphere. Christine, one of the owners, overheard me mentioning that I wanted to come back to try the clam chowder. To my surprise, she brought out a small bowl for me to taste—it was incredible! That thoughtful touch made the evening even more special.

I paired the meal with the house Pinot Noir, and it was so good I ended up having three glasses! The quality of the food, wine, and service is unmatched.

10/10 recommend. If you’re near Prairie Creek Marina or anywhere in the Rogers area, do yourself a favor and visit The Fat Chef. We can’t wait to return!

You get what you pay for so if you're looking for an AMAZING experience and service check this place out! We have never had such fantastic service as we did here. But at the same time it wasn't to fancy to feel uncomfortable. It was absolute perfection! It was the best meal I think we've ever had! We can't wait to go back!

Came down from Dublin oh to visit my son who just moved down here. What a great experience our dinner was. I had the best steak I have ever had. Everything is fresh made. And the homemade desserts are to die for. What service and the place is so unique. If you all come down to Roger’s Arkansas check this place out. Thanks again!

Lovely place with owners that care and want to get to know you. In house made dressings, good selection, and generally just better than what I’ve found so far within a 15 mile radius of the hotel. I had Walleye - in Arkansas! If you’re in Rogers, just go here and be delighted by everyone.
