My manicure is the neatest I've had in Fairbanks so far (neat as in the lines are good - they did the best job applying the polish). However, the person who did my manicure was rude and overly insistent on up-selling me.

1) I had asked to not have my cuticles trimmed because I do not like the sensation and I was pressured into it. Not very respectful of my bodily autonomy.

2) I wanted a plain color and the artist repeatedly attempted to pressure me into a design.

3) As she was still holding my fingers at the end of my "manicure", the nail artist looked disdainfully at my eyebrows and asked if I wanted a wax. When I said no, she literally threw my hand away from her in exasperation.

4) Apart from the rudeness, the "manicure" was basically just a gel polish application - there was no wax, massage, etc. She did apply lotion for approximately 5 seconds before storming away

I still tipped 20% because I do like the polish itself and I'm a millennial, but I have never been treated so poorly as a customer and would not recommend this salon to others.

The lady rushed, never let gel dry (each hand was in the uv light for not even 10 seconds at a time). You can see bubbles in the gel. She didn’t even clean the bottom of the nail from the gel, so it looks like dried glue. Which is very annoying. Will not be going back

This was my first time ever getting a Mani/Pedi.

Fancy Nails really impressed me, being a TransWoman and Autistic; my needs can be a bit unique. The tech was incredibly patient, professional, and did beautiful gels (after a really nice spa treatment). My accompanying friend got a bit more complex work done which turned out simply stunning!

The salon was very clean and sensory mellow (quiet with soft background music, no harsh smells, indirect lighting, respectful staff, gentle products, adjustable seats, etc.) The product selection was great, and everything was clear in their services book.

I had asked about a matte clear finish for my fingers, not wanting them to be too attention drawing. The tech advised to go with the gloss as it wouldn't be too shiny, and the matte wouldn't look at good. She was totally correct, her advice was highly appreciated.

I had the deluxe spa leg/foot treatment, gel toes, basic on my hands, but with a lot of cuticle clean up, then the clear gels.

It came out to about $110 before leaving a tip. Totally worth it! I'll be back for sure! ?

This salon is pristine, the first thing I noticed when I walked in is that it is clean, smells good and is brand new looking. It smells like Hawaii in here! I was treated to a gel manicure and pedicure for Mother’s Day and got Ruby as my technician. She was warm and friendly and made me feel comfortable for my experience. I’ll be booking with her for my wedding nails in September!!

They did an incredible job on my nails! I forgot my card, and I went to go get it and come back which pushed my nails being finished after they closed. I wasn’t rushed, and they still took their time! I found a new nail place to go to!

Great service. Beautiful nail results! The lady was gentle, quick, and very thorough. She ensured my nails didn't have any darker spots with the white sheer gel polish and they were thoroughly dried under the lamp! Very nice ladies there.

So impressed!!! Visiting from Texas. They took me as a walk-in for a full set with design. Hand painted boho chic. So sweet and reasonably priced.
