I took my daughter to this clinic after seeing her have breathing issues. While waiting the nurse came out and started taking care of her. They immediately took her back and called an ambulance for her and we spent the next 3 days at children's. My daughter is doing much better now but without their care there is no telling what could have happened.

I had a severe ear infection and they refused to see me because I was pregnant. No help on what to do or where to go from there. I feel like at the very least if you refuse to see pregnant women, maybe have some knowledge on where I can go from there. And it’s not that they couldn’t see me. They just didn’t. After hours in Jasper were able to see me days later when my OBGYN was able to let me know where to go from there because when they refused to see me I assumed no urgent cares would see pregnant women. Nope just them. I have been a patient here several times before being pregnant and really liked those visits and everyone was very kind then. And it was the doctor that refused to see me not the staff. The staff seemed very sorry that they couldn’t do anything. Just wish they were able to at least have information on file somewhere like “hey, this place will see you” instead of “sorry, good luck.”

I have taken my son there many times and they are always so nice and patient. I even had to go there as a new patient the other day and the process of being a new patient was so easy. The paperwork was quick and the wait wasn't very long. I definitely recommend this place and their new building is beautiful too.

Took my 9 year old daughter to be seen and showed up at 6:50. The doors were locked and the staff would not answer the door. Had to call from outside and they said you have to be signed in 15 mins prior to closing. It’s a shame that my kids stomach pain didn’t get the memo in time for her to be seen. Meanwhile 2 of the women are behind the desk just looking at us.

I have called to inquire about an appointment that was pre made by a third party who are NOT medical professionals. All I asked was, "What are some medical reasons to deny a patient from receiving an x ray?" Was told I needed to contact the third party. When on to say, "You are the medical professionals, they are not. I had to re explain. That's why I am asking you. I then had to re ask the question to get what I was looking for. All I can say is that phone call could have gone a lot smoother if she wasn't so persistent on pushing her job onto somebody else. Simple question ridiculous drawn-out answer.

So, I call Sumiton After Hours at around 8:23 last Monday to be told I couldn't be seen even though they close at 9. I had just walked into the After Hours in Jasper to be told they couldn't see me because the clip board was up. I have covid and the flu. I had to go to the ER for 4 hours just to be told there really wasn't much they could do. I was paying out of pocket and now I have a huge medical bill. My blood pressure was high because I got so upset. I could have been at home resting. Not to mention my bf had been up 21 hours because he had to take me to the doc.
