This review is specifically for this location only and not for the products. I was so excited to go to an actual store front because where we live at in Virginia, we do not have one near us so we always take the 45 minute drive to this location when we are here visiting family. We were not in the store for more than 5 minutes, and as I was smelling the laundry detergent my son opened the door to the dryer that was in the store and a woman came walking our way and yelled “Honey, what in the world are you doing in MY washing machine” I was so taken aback and embarrassed that someone would talk to a 7 year old like that. After she said that she said “and is there anything I can help you with” like we were an inconvenience in the store so I put back the only item that I had picked up to buy and left. I have never had someone be so awful. A simple “ please do not open that” would have been just fine! Kindness goes a long way especially when you a working with the public! Never again will I visit this store front, I’ll make the drive to Columbia!

It's so nice to have plant based soaps so easily accessible! The store is filled with lovely smelling soaps, bath bombs, laundry detergent, wax melts, etc.

I think it's neat that you can book a party and create your own homemade bath bombs! Such a fun and unique idea. My daughter is already making plans to do so, of course;)

I cannot express how pleased I am with our experience! I never leave reviews for companies but Kylee Holden truly went above and beyond! We’re out of towners from New Hampshire and on a whim came in. Kylee made sure we were taken care of from the jump! She was so informative about all the products and sales and made sure we were getting the most out of our experience and products! We got a large mixture of product since we’ve never tried Buff City Soaps before. She gave us some samples to try so next time we come in, we know more of what we like!
If you’re considering Buff City, this is your sign! The staff is absolutely wonderful!

The store is clean and the employees are fantastic and know how to help customers understand what smells they like better than even the customer. Was just there and the owner of the store YELLED at an employee while she was talking to a customer and was hateful to her in front of the entire store. Treating employees like that in inexcusable, I would be surprised if she keeps employees for a long time at all. Awful behavior.

Went in to treat my wife to a Valentines Day bag. The employees were friendly and helped me to put her a bag together. My wife visits there often and I was able to put this on her phone number where she could gain more points(?). Was well satisfied

Whole staff was so super friendly when I visited today. Took advantage of the awesome but 5 get 2 sale going on. I'm deffo coming back in to get laundry detergent when I use down my stockpile at home. Before we left a birthday party had just cleared out and they offered my little girl to make her own bomb which was a fun experience for her. Deffo recommend for anyone looking for a Lushe-sque experience (or better) here.
