Lee is an exceptional colorist and stylist! She created a beautiful highlight that complemented my natural hair color beautifully! I do not want to color or hide my incoming gray and she matched a blonde tone beautifully. Eliminated the yellows from a previous highlight.

Daniella did a fantastic job on my gel french manicure. The base color is a beautiful glossy pink.

Best of the best salon in town!

I have been a loyal customer of Y Salon for many years, but always neglected to post a review and forgot to take before & after photos. The salon has gone through many changes and renovations throughout the years, but their ambiance and uplifting service remain the same. Yvonne is a wonderful master stylist. She knows her customer well and listens to their request. She is very skillful and I feel like she’s a chemist witch with her color blending. My hair color was fading out and i needed a full lifted dye. I was happy with the color I got and the multiple treatments that make my hair shiny and silky. In addition, i also got my manicure done as well. Awesome job from Oanh (One). Lovely lady and did an awesome job.

Y Salon also takes care of customers very well. They offer complimentary beverages and snacks. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. I can also see the positive energy that each staff have for one another. They seem to be very pleasant to be around. Last but not least, the salon is beautifully decorated with unique personal touch and very artistic. Highly recommend 🥰

That was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The lady ripped my skin off, made me scream in pain. I gave 1 star not even because of the pain but truly because 1) limited color selection 2) limited equipments (they didn’t even have fan to dry off the nails) 3) the lady told me my nail was dry and ready to go, I doubted her and of course it wasn’t dry, she had to redo one of my nail so made me sit around for 30mins extra.

Do not come here for Mani/pedi!!!

Hair color was 0 stars because they basically did whatever they wanted and didn’t try to understand my request. I asked for a brown hair color, basically a return to my natural color and I used my hair strands to express what I was looking for, I try to express it using the book the provided with the hair samples, and the lady kept focusing on my gray and looking confused. I ended up with black hair. There was so much back and forth on what services I was getting—so much! I was there for 3.5 hours! In their defense, they offered to fix my hair color, which is pitch black, but I’m too scared of giving them a second chance.

So happy to have finally found a nice, gentle, careful, and detail oriented nail tech in a beautiful, big, and fun salon in the Bay Area!!

I can’t recommend Ale (short for Alessandra I believe) enough for your nails. She was very gentle and careful with my hands and was a perfectionist in shaping my nails and even made my acrylic tips thin and finely tipped! My nails feel and look elegant and functional (and NOT chonky and unusable)

I spent $50 before tip for an acrylic fill which took 2 hours from start to finish.

I have always feared getting my nails done because more often than not, nail techs I’ve gone to in the bay area have been aggressive and careless leaving me with cut fingers, damaged nail beds, and an irritated mood. Getting your nails done should feel like a treat and with Ale at this salon, it is!!

The other nail techs working around me were all very friendly and would come to check on me from time to time. The atmosphere here is not only beautiful and aesthetic, but also very cheerful and relaxing. I will definitely be back!

Long time customer. Extremely satisfied with my lash services done by Noa. She was very gentle on my eyes as I did not feel much of a pull when removing the old lashes. It was a quick process, yet a relaxing experience.
