UPDATE:
Still within the first week, my gel is peeling off (see added photo)—I’ve Never had that happen with a gel manicure before and am really disappointed to have spent the money here. Nails are visibly grown out and almost all “diamonds” are gone. 😞
Pros:
The nail tech was friendly and took a lot of time on my nails. I changed my mind and she adjusted easily, using a picture I found on Pinterest. She charged me $15 more than the $40 quoted for a gel manicure, and since there was hand painting and “diamonds” added it seemed fair.
Cons: I called 1/2 hour before and was told by the man when answered the phone that he could fit me in. I waited at least 1/2 hour before someone was free, which was frustrating since we had hustled there to be on time. The manicure cost more than quoted and the nail tech did not mention this or ask me if that was ok with me. Lastly, half of the “diamonds” fell off after two days, and that’s disappointing to me. If I’m going to spend $55 and 2 hours on my nails I’d like it to last a couple weeks at least. Lastly, not the nail tech’s fault, but I’m sorry I got the gold tips—it looks dirty to my eyes rather than festive. Always helpful to have the experts weigh in on these creative ventures!

Been here twice so far for a pedicure and everything was wonderful. Greeted and served immediately for my appointment times. Friendly! Very clean. Great, long lasting results (with simple nail polish). Will be back.

I would post a picture of the pedicure, but it’s quite embarrassing.. I’ve been here for a pedicure once before and was looking forward to going back today to relax as my graduation is tomorrow.. I showed them an inspiration pic which wasn’t too complicated to recreate, it was a French tip but instead of the classic nude base, it was a milky white base and instead of the classic thick French tip, it was thin and dragged up on the sides (hard to explain, but it’s a simple technique) I kept direct communication throughout both full set and pedi to avoid being dissatisfied with the results (their pedicure was $55 alone, $15 extra for gel, $5 extra for French tip, and $3 for gel removal and $60 for gel extension, $5 French tip).. to summarize, despite my direct and open communication and even me trying to stop the nail tech in the beginning stage of my full set; the nails came out horrible and look nothing like what I asked for. I had to go and pay extra somewhere else to get them fixed! It’s really not a difficult technique, I just think that they aren’t too familiar with the newer trends/techniques. I think that if you’re into outdated early 2k styles (as seen in other reviews) or you’re just going for a solid color then yeah this is a nice spot. But if you’re trying to do anything trendy, I’d be weary. They are definitely overpriced and what I left with was not* worth it. Created unnecessary stress and conflict the night before my graduation.

A beautiful new salon, but the owners have been in the business for years in Nipomo. Fantastic service. My nails have never looked better! Katie is very professional with a personal touch. A hidden gem, I'm frankly hesitant to recommend, only because once you find this place, it will be your nail place. But, with service and quality that has that personal touch, I can't keep this phenomenal salon to myself. They also do a variety of other services such as eyelash tinting, which was surprisingly more effective than I thought possible.

Quality of work is unmatched. My nails never chip or break. I get the Gel X fill every 3 weeks and they still look great. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is inviting. My absolute favorite place in slo county.

I was happily suprised on my first visit. Had been a loyal customer at another salon nearby, but quickly impressed with their expertise and easy of booking. Started with a gel manicure but will return for a pedicure.

I’ve had a wonderful experience every time I’ve visited. I love to occasionally treat myself with a gel manicure & pedicure. They take their time and do a meticulous job on my well-worn hands and unruly cuticles. Highly recommend!

This salon cannot keep appointment times!! They have been consistently 20-30 minutes late for every appointment I’ve made. My time is valuable to me especially in the evening when I don’t have all night to hang out there! I wish they would keep their appointment times because they’re nice people however, need to be respectful of people’s time. There have been three times I made an appointment, only to be told when I got there, that it wasn’t written down and they “didn’t know about it!” Too bad because I spent around $300 a month in there and always tipped 20% or more!
