I was looking for a new nail salon that is closer to me and tried this place on a recommendation from a friend - it was pretty dissapointing. I was really excited to go here, especially after seeing the reviews! The aesthetics are awesome, and the guy that handles the appointments is really nice, but the pedicure experience was definitely a let down. I went in the afternoon, and they weren't that busy at the time either.

I got the basic pedicure and was in and out within 35min (including 10min drying). It definitely didn't feel like a relaxing, spa pedicure. The gal that did my nails didn't even let my feet soak before starting with the clipping/filing of the nails. Overall, it was just a rushed and disappointing experience.

The nail shape and color was fine, nothing different from other nail salons. Great aesthetics, but if you're looking for a more in-depth pedicure (where they at least soak your feet before working on the nails, then this isn't the place.

Excellent service and everyone is very nice. I love their salon as it is bright, the nail colors are in rainbow order on the wall, and clean. Plus, they just got new pedicure chairs! I recommend calling ahead as sometimes they are busy, however walk-ins are welcome.
I typically get a gel manicure and it will last at least two or more weeks.

Absolutely Amazing Experience!

I have had the pleasure of going to Puffin Nails for over a year now. I can’t say enough great things about my experience! From the moment I walk in, I have always been greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what always turns out as a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The salon itself is gorgeous—elegantly designed, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The atmosphere immediately puts me at ease, making it the ideal place to unwind.

The staff are top-notch! Every nail technician, is superb. They take the time to consult with me on my preferred nail style and ensure every detail is perfect. Whether it was the precision with which she applies my polish or the gentle way she handles my cuticles, I always feel completely pampered throughout the entire process. The quality of the products used is outstanding too, and I could tell that the salon takes pride in using only the best.

Not only did my nails turn out flawless, but the entire experience is incredibly relaxing. I leave feeling refreshed and confident, knowing I have my new go-to spot for all things nails!

This is actually my 2nd GelX set with Lyna. I highly recommend her for her detailed and efficient work. My first set could have lasted 4+ weeks if it weren't for my nails growing so fast. I like Puffin because they guarantee their work for 3 weeks which I liked. I hope I never have to use the guarantee because they last.

Thank you so much for making me feel so comfortable. Even though I live in Fairfield, I'll continue to come to Puffin.

I have been going to Puffin nails for a little over 7 months, and my experience has always been so pleasant. They are always kind, on time, and deliver excellent service. They have a wide variety of dip powders (this is what I get each time) and do a good job of applying it. I have been able to go 3-4 weeks easily without any issues! If you’re looking for a new nail salon, do not look any further. Would recommend without hesitation!

Normally this place does a good job and I brought my mom because she just had a bad experience at a nearby salon. Unfortunately I had the same experience. Sloppy nail Polish and bubbles on the color. You can see my cuticle was still flaky. After a $75 mani pedi you expect more. Not going here again. See photos for evidence. I assume the photos with the flowers are all taken by the shop, because even my mom’s cuticles were jagged.

I’ve been going to puffin nails for years now- they are the absolute most reliable and consistent nail shop, and the only one that I can trust to go in and actually wrap up within the given timeframe that I have and provide a great pedicure (as a working single mom, that’s extra important for me). My daughter and I have also gotten manicures here, but I tend to mainly get pedicures in general. All their services have been great and consistent over the years. Thank you!
