I went with my parents and ordered a box full. I recommend trying as much flavors as you can. The guy was friendly and manned the place all by himself. Definitely check it out if you like empanadas and are in the area.

There are too many tacos in California, we need more empanadas! I love hot tasty meats wrapped in a warm, buttery, and delectable pastry!

Sadly, this touristing San Diegan Yelper was already full from brunch, but just had to try one...Beef & Egg! The musical medley of beef, egg, spices, and secret ingredients wrapped in lovely pastry was a perfect symphony of flavors and textures in my mouth. The extra chimchurri sauce was a perfect encore. Friendly staff, California eccentric surfer vibes, kept the interactions interesting. Will try to stop by again on my rare road trips between San Diego and LA or Disneyland.

VERY DELICIOUS LUNCH ! My wife and I were moving more personal stuff into our new address in San Clemente today. PLAN A ! We were gettin' hungry before the drive back to Irvine and I suggested we buy a few Empanadas here to eat at home. GREAT IDEA ! My wife loved my suggestion and improved on it even further.....get some empanadas and eat them while we charge up our Tesla Y at the Tesla Supercharging Station at the Outlets at San Clemente. LOVE IT ! So we drove down Avenida Del Mar looking for this place on the very busy Labor Day Weekend......my wife dropped me off when we spotted it. OH NO ! It was 1.20pm when I headed straight inside and it looked like they were just about out of empanadas. EVEN WORSE ! There was a guy being served who was puttin' together a 20 pack. FINALLY ! After this dude put together his 20 pack there was barely a dozen empanadas left on the warming trays. Of course I checked in on Yelp when I arrived....1 FREE EMPANADA with purchase of any of our party packs ! A cashier named Ean gave my helpful service when I selected 2 x Ham & Cheese, 2 x Chorizo Egg & Potato, 1 x Cheesy Spinach and 1 x Vegan Veggie Lentils. Ean asked if I wanted any sauce and I chose Chimi-Churri. I paid for 5 empanadas and got 6th one free thanks to Yelp. Keep in mind there is no seating inside here....this is a take-out joint only. I headed over the street to where my wife had parked the car and we took off for the Outlets at San Clemente to charge up the Tesla. After we plugged in we raised the rear hatch and opened our pack of empanadas. EXCELLENT FLAVOR ! My wife didn't want anything to do with the Chorizo Egg & Potato so I had both of those....totally delicious. My wife tried the Ham & Cheese first and loved it. I had the other Ham & Cheese empanada and thought it tasted pretty good. Next up my wife enjoyed the Cheesy Spinach and said it tasted great. LAST OF ALL ! After downing 3 empanadas I figured I could do 4....the Vegan Veggie Lentils tasted very good. All of our fully loaded empanadas tasted fresh made with top quality ingredients. After our delicious lunch we finished charging the car and headed back to Irvine with happy tummies. HARD TO BEAT !

SENSATIONAL EMPANADAS - SENSATIONAL SERVICE ! My wife and I were out and about on Tuesday afternoon doing some shopping. Before heading home we wanted to stock up on a few delicious empanadas from here. VERY GOOD ! This was our 3rd visit...we grabbed a half doz for lunch on the day we moved into our new digs up in the hills of San Clemente 3 weeks ago. A friendly cashier named Tyler greeted us warmly when we showed up around 1.30pm. OOPS ! We wanted to buy a dozen warm ones from the heated display case but they looked a little light on numbers. In the end with Tyler's help we made up a dozen......Cheesy Spinach, Chorizo, Egg and Potato, Cheesy Egg & Potatoes, Vegan Veggie Lentils, Cheeseburger, Ham & Cheese, Chicken and Beef to take home and Tyler threw in a few sauces to spice things up. We had 2 each for lunch back at the house and froze the rest for later. DARN GOOD ! We've tried empanadas all over the place and these are up there with the best...Tyler reminded us that he makes them. It's probably a good idea to order in advance by phone or online so you get exactly want you want. TOTALLY DELICIOUS FRESH MADE EMPANADAS !

Jen is amazing she is always friendly and goes above and beyond. I came for the delish empinadas and always enjoy my visit. Staff is all amazing. Try the cheeseburger and the chorizo. My 2 favs! All sauces are yummy too!

I paid 9 dollars for two empanadas. Small product, very thin dough and little flavor. I think there is nothing real about it since I have tried it in several countries and they are very far from this product. I wouldn't recommend it, nor would I go again. poor price quality ratio
