Great experience purchasing furniture from Macy's. Karen was a very helpful and knowledgeable. She wasn't pushy, but she was still attentive. Our items were delivered just 5 days after purchasing them. Delivery people were prompt. Mary called us just to make sure our delivery went well and to check to see if we were enjoying our couch. Great customer service!

Bought a couch and dining chairs. The staff are pretty good at helping you. You need to watch the sales in the store and on line, we bought the chairs in store and then found them at Macy's on line for less, with lower shipping costs. That is frustrating. But the products they have are nice.

This has been the WORST furniture shopping experience ever. We purchased a dining set on 5/26/24 and after months of setback after setback, delay after delay -- we were finally told that the items would arrive at LAX on 8/26/24. Exactly 3 months after ordering and this is the update that I received as of the date of this timestamp. This big box store needs to not exist anymore and everything from their operations, online experience, Amex credit card integration, order fulfillment, and online chat and phone support is absolutely atrocious. Save yourself months of headaches and just go to Ashley (ask for Phil). Ashley is such a breath of fresh air compared to Macy's. After this experience, I wouldn't even buy underwear from Macy's anymore.

Bought what Macy’s claimed is a high end sofa at a corresponding price. Purchase was very friendly and people went out of their way to close the deal.
Three month later the sofa already shows significant wear.
We are three persons at below average weight sitting on it in the evening at most.
Macy’s takes no responsibility.
After inspection there is no feedback from the inspection service. Following up the reply is that this is normal. No possibility to escalate or have the judgement reviewed.
Stay away if you really want to buy quality. Don’t expect appropriate service.
HR or Crate & Barrel would have done a much better job at the same price point.
Unfortunately I have to give one star. Would be 0 if I could.

The staff was nice and helpful. BUT for Macy's Furniture business model, zero stars. Went into the store to buy a couch in May 2023. Found one we liked. The price and style were very similar to what Living Spaces carries. We were ready to purchase, and this was what got me livid - the delivery fee for this 4 piece couch was 250$ on top of the advertised price. If you wanted the item to be brought into your house - $299... This 4 piece sectional could fit into a standard pick up truck in one shot, and we live 1 mile away. Macys has NO option to pick it up yourself, not from the store or even a warehouse. The $250 fee is MANDATORY and not advertised in the sale price. My question is, why not just add the fee into yhe advertised price? There is no way around this made up "fee"! Can't blame the pandemic anymore. Seems somehow illegal. Out of principle, will not buy here as this seems like "legal" robbery because they can. Shame on you Macy's!

Update: purchased online due to memorial day sale, and fee down to 199$ for delivery... 1 box, 2 items in one box. Gosh, the film is even color coded.... still managed to screw it up
