This is a late post.
Hollywood Nails are fantastic!
My nails are very thin and sensitive but Calvin has been consistently gentle and I get no burning. For that alone I would say, they are the best in Bakersfield.
Though I have worn decorations off in 5 days and polish from toes in the first week. They work well and makes sure customers are happy and gets whatever they want of which Hollywood can provide. 🥰

These are my own nails with gel polish after 2 weeks. Calvin is excellent, as I have very weak nails that break easily. Everyone in the salon is professional, clean, and kind. I will be a forever customer because of the way my nails grow after having them done here. Never have I had my nails last and grow like they have once I started with a Calvin. A+ salon

The staff is very nice and they work extra hard for their customers. Its very clean and they offer drinks! They have different tvs and always as what you'd want to watch. I absolutely recommend this nail salon!

I'm new to the area and was looking fora new salon I can go to. I came across Hollywood Nails on Yelp and thought I try it out. I made an appointment the day before from a Friday morning. The place was clean and calm. I got a sugar scrub pedicure with Le who was very detailed and gentle. I truly enjoyed my self care time there. I found my new pedicure spot.

Overall nice place. Had a mani done, the clean up was good. But the gel application was not the greatest. Best to call ahead so you don't wait. Will be returning but I will request a different tech. My sister had a full set with design, this was great. For that we are giving 4 stars.

I’ve been going to Hollywood Nails for 2 years and initially I was very pleased. But the service over the past year has been sub-par! I always make an appointment and in doing so, having to wait past 10 minutes is unacceptable! Also, the quality of nail care from Serina is not what is was two years ago either. Many times I’ve let with debris under my nail bed, due to her insistence of rushing the work. Several times I’ve come in, she would be with another client, knowing my appointment is about to start, and she wouldn’t even acknowledge that I came in!My time is as valuable as others….which is why I make an appointment. So for those reasons, I will not go back there! Her husband is very kind and considerate, Serina could learn some customer skills from him!
